One of the last remaining quality Maytags,
November 16, 2009
"This dishwasher is great. One of the last true Maytags. Newer models are just Whirlpools with the Maytag name slapped on. Since Whirlpool bought Maytag, models like this one are being phased out. Buy it now while you can."

Might only last one year,
December 31, 2008
"I own rentals so I buy a lot of appliances. About 50% of the time this dishwasher only lasts one year or just beyond the one year mark. I had the same problems that the last reviewer had. But I am not saying you should not buy it because I have only have marginally better results with the higher priced units. If you are looking for your home and want something that will last, you will have to go top of the line no matter the brand. I have had slightly better results with GE's low end dishwashers and so that is what I buy now. GE's dishwasher tend to have problems around the one year mark but they tend to be smaller problems that warrant repair."

Very Quiet,
October 13, 2007
"This dishwasher is a huge improvement over my previous dishwasher. First of all, it's so quiet that you can hardly tell it's even on. I have only two complaints about this dishwasher.
1. The bottom rack comes off track way too easily.
2. The door doesn't open and close as smoothly as some other models.
I would also like the dishwasher to tell me how many minutes are left, or at least what cycle it's on. However, for this price, I guess you sacrifice some features. Overall, this is a great dishwasher."

Great Dishwasher,
April 12, 2007
"We just recently purchased this Maytag dishwasher and we're very happy we did. It's quiet, you don't even know it's turned on. The push button features in the front are very easy to use."

motor broke after only 18 months,
March 12, 2007
"After 18 months the motor and pump assembly broke. It is covered under warrantee, but must pay for diagnostic ($80) then labor to repair ($150). That's more than half of what I paid for it. Plus it was not as quit as it should have been, Quiet series model."

Quiet Elegance and Quality,
November 19, 2006
"I love the look of this Maytag dishwasher and the price is great. It has enough capacity for large platers and pans and loading is a snap.
We have large family gatherings and my holiday china is safe in this dishwasher. The control lockout is very desirable for little, curious fingers.
What more can I say, style, function, roomy and quiet, quiet, quiet!, with a great price to boot."
