This product is very functional. The quality is not the greatest, and we had to replace the hardware because the screws stripped almost immediately.

I had hesitation purchasing the log loop because of reviewers saying it was hard to assemble with vague instructions. I didnt think it could be that bad and I was up for the challenge. The reviewers were right, the directions were useless! I had this thing spread all over my house and it took several attempts to get it lined up. In the end, it stands leaning to one side and wobbly, I'm hoping the weight of the logs will straighten it out over time!

I found the instruction to assemble needed a lot to be desired...with a little common sense I was able to assemble it without following the instruction...

Sturdy, good looking and strong. It's an amazing product for this price. Usually they cost closer to $75. Can't go wrong! It's a little difficult to assemble at first until you get the hang of it. It may seem like it's missing 2 screws, but it's not, that's just the way it goes. Still very sturdy.

It's not your parent's wrought iron ring that will last for 75+ years but it's going to get decent milage and for the price I'm happy with it. I was a bit concerned at first with how light weight it is and how it didn't seem very sturdy but after all the screws were sufficiently tightened there was no wobble and I felt better. The directions were pretty vague but do-able. A tip for anyone putting it together: Don't tighten the screws all the way unil every last one is put in otherwise you will have to go back and loosen some in order to get the screws and the holes lined up in other areas.

while this log hoop is sturdy, putting it together was rough as the instructions are not very clear at all. We had to take it apart and try again 3 times before getting it together and stable.
All in all, it's a good product, but the instructions are not very clear, keeping me from giving it a 5 star rating.

I did some online research, and determined that Home Depot had the best price around. I ordered it online for home delivery, and it arrived very quickly.
I agree with another reviewer in that the there should be some sort of plugs for the open ends of the tubing: it would give a more finished look for indoor use, and prevent water and insects from getting inside for protected outdoor use.

Con: Assembly harware is just adequate. Use electrical tape to seal the many openings or this will only last a year and rust out, if it is kept outside.

Home Depot shipped the firewood storage hoop super-fast, and I am pleased with the product. It was fairly easy to assemble...the only tool needed was a screwdriver. The hoop seems sturdy, even though it is constructed of hollow tubing. My only suggestion would be some form of "cap" for the ends of each tube. Since the tubes are hollow...the eight open ends are going to the perfect place for bugs to live/nest. I priced this exact firewood hoop on many different sites and Home Depot has the best price by $20.00.

I had some fireplace wood outside and wanted to plant some flowers where it was stored. When I started to move the wood I found some logs had begun to rot from sitting on the damp ground. The log hoop was the perfect solution and was shipped right on time.
