It seems different than the ones I've purchased before. Besides the clear walls, I don't think it's as strong as the first ones. Jury's out on how long it will last. Time will tell.

I have always been pleased come filter changing time at the ease of replacing this cartridge. I am extremely satiisfied with this product and knowing my shower water is being filtered for most contaminants. I am not the most savvy to home repair type projects, but this cartridge change is quite fast and easy. Every time I change it I can see the stuff that has been filtered out of the water and not going on my skin and hair and for that I am glad.

I have been using the Sprite showerhead with filter for several years and I have noticed a true difference in my skin and hair. Now there is a softer and less drying feel to my skin and hair than when I used a traditional showerhead. It is amazing to see the sediment buildup in the filter when you replace it and know that stuff can end up on your skin and hair.

No more dry skin , I do not have soft water...but I have it in my shower now!! Winter hot showers always made my skin itch, requiring lots of lotion..no more, now the water almost beads up when I dry. I use less shampoo & soap, shower stays cleaner. I highly recommend this for everyone.
