I had this fan installed in a bedroom. It is the quietest fan I have ever owned and it's so much easier to clean than an indoor fan. I highly recommend this fan for both indoors and outdoors.

I have about five Hunter fans that I installed 10 years ago in my home. I wanted to replace one fan due to corrosion but Hunter Fans are not the same as they were years ago. The construction and quality control is lacking on the new fans sold today. My New Hunter fan Had a scratch on the case while still wrapped in the plastic. Two of the five blades were warped or the brackets were warped and I could only use two out of three screws for assembly. The threads for the light kit were rough and two different Hunter light kits would not thread on the fan. The CFL light provided in the fan kit by Hunter failed in 20 seconds. The hunter fan kit does not have the correct plugs provided on the fan for the light kit. You have to cut and splice the plugs off. Why ??? Save your money and buy a Casablanca. It could be no worse than the Hunter product if not better. Home depot has a generous return policy but after you start your installation and the nearest home depot is 50 miles away I figured Hunter would fix the problem for me and save me the hassle of uninstalling the fan and driving back to the store. I I now have been waiting for a Hunter representative to order the repair parts for over 30 minutes. The phone hold service plays classical music and sells you offers on buying the album. ??? Are you kidding, I finally chose the option to leave a message for a call back. Sadly I was disconnected from the Hunter help desk. Never again " Hunter "

My wife and I just bought a house. We purchased two items right off the bat for our beautiful wide brick front porch; plain white rocking chairs, and two of these super clean looking, very well made ceiling fans. There's nothing finer than keeping bugs and heat to a minimum with a nice fan to extend porch time into an all-day event.
Assembly and wiring was relatively simple for a ceiling fan. The plastic blades and non-corrosive metal construction looks great and will probably last a lifetime. Another great feature is that they consume less than 70W each on high, but provide great air output.
These fans are durable, functional, clean looking, and efficient. If you want a plain white outdoor fan, buy this.
You will like it.

I bought two of these for my outdoor patio. And although they are good looking, they are quiet and, most importantly, they are water proof.
Installation was slightly more difficutl than I had anticipated because the instructions didn't tell me how to install them flat against the ceiling. I had to use the small pole provided. But they still look great!
All in all, we are very pleased and would definitely recommend this product.

Outstanding product for the price. Installed in an outdoor pavilion - provides very adequate air movement with little or no noise. Would like to have had a 12" or 16" downrod option - the one included in the box is about 8".

I chose this fan for outdoor use because it nicely styled and because it is made from stainless steel and aluminum. We live about 500 feet from the ocean and corrosion is a big concern. The white painted finish is a good hard coating without any scratches or blemishes and should hold up well in this environment The blades are plastic and will not corrode but may discolor with time. Operation is flawless and the fan required no balancing.
I personally prefer the Hampton Bay method of hanging the fan while making the electrical connections.

We love this fan. It is very quiet but moves alot of air. We installed the 52 inch, all white model. It is sleek and looks great in our room. Installation was very simple, and the fan does not wobble at high speeds.

This white fan is great for the bedroom. Even in high speed, it's not too noisy. Very quiet in other modes. Wanted a nice-looking, flush-mounted one without a light. This is perfect.

I bought this fan a little over a year ago to replace one that was outside over the patio. I love the fan as it puts out a lot of air, and I added a light kit to it and the lighting is perfect.
If it is hot, which we all know that it is here in Spring, TX
I can leave the fan on for my dogs who lay under it and turn the lights off. I will be buying another one to replace a second one that I have. You will not go wrong with this one, and it shows no wear from being outside for a little over a year.

This fan looks great but I shudder every time I look at the extension downrods. If your outdoor ceiling height requires the use of a longer all weather satin white extension rod (mine required 24 Inch), then you are at the mercy of the high price shops...if you can even locate some. I emptied my wallet for 3 all weather satin white extension rods. Be prepared. Great deal if you don't need them.

I live in Puerto Rico, near to the coast. I want this fan for my bedroom, will be very useful because it is resistant to rust, also the weather and temperature in my town are very high and usually wood blades of conventional fans does not meet my needs. The only missing feature is remote control.
