Bought it so I could "hear the rain" but it really adds to appearance of upstairs balcony with French doors. Bought the largest available so wife and I can sit under it with our coffee while it rains. Will also help protect the wood doors from sun and rain. Thought it was a little pricy and more difficult to install than I expected but nothing too bad. Two people would have been easier but only had myself. I considered one without sides but glad I paid the extra. Sides make it much more durable and better looking.

Assembly directions are not clear on how the curved edge fits into the bottom gutter. I'm still not sure I got it right but I did get it to fit. The wings came assembled with the mounting brackets but I had to take them off because it was too hard to screw them to the canopy. The wings were in the way. Because of the size and the flex in the canopy, you need two people to mount to the house.

I purchased this awning online and it was shipped to right away . It was very easy to put together and mount . It took less than an hour from start to finish . I love it ! It keeps the afternoon sun from coming into the sliding glass door and we can sit under it even when it's raining . I would highly recomend it .

This awning looks great on my house! Was easy to install but you will need help. Me and my cousin installed this awning, it was the biggest one Homedepot was selling. Only thing i did'nt like it did not come with support arms. but this one don't need them. Buy it!

Instructions very vague at times; very difficult to drill into concrete or brick (not the fault of the awning) which added to the frustration; not a one person job even for the smallest size. Looks great and will definately meet the need.

This is a nice looking awning that serves two purposes. First it gives an overhang when it's raining and second, it stops the rain from going into the building. The only negative thing I can say is that the instructions are not as clear as I would have liked, but then I had never seen one installed close up. It also gives a pleasing appearance to the building and looks like it belongs there.

We installed the awning on the backdoor of my sister's house to keep rain from blowing in. It was surprisingly sturdy and light weight, thus making it easier do the overhead installation. We ran into a tight installation due to window and door frames and were delighted to discover the side panels are reversible, thus saving us a much appreciated inch or so. We love the look. so much nicer and more modern than the conventional aluminium awning. The rain drip catcher on the bottom edge will be an added plus in the rain, unavailable on other designs.

Difficult to assemble, because the tiny hex head screws required a miniscule socket to turn- no slot or phillps head. I used my own slot head sheet metal screws to complete assembly

This is not our first canopy awning from Home Depot, and I guess that speaks volumes. We find the quality, endurance, and installation ease of these awnings a great value for our needs. Our customer's satisfaction is our ultimate goal, and we've hit the mark with each use of these awnings.

We find them attractive, easy to put together and affordable. Larger ones will require two people to install.

The instructions with the product are easy to follow and assembly went without a hitch. Actually installing on the house was really easy and quick. My wife supervising and being the level had it spot on when I did check it with the level. Actually fun to do and they work like a dream. Keep the rain off the stoop and give some shelter for unlocking the door.

I have a door that gets alot of sun and our temp gets to 95+ degrees. Our new Awning has cut the sun and has helped our kitchen to be cooler. I really like the dark brown color as it just matches our color of our house. Also the fact it is light weigth is also a very important for us as we installed it ourselves and we able to handle it. What can I say I just love our new AWNING.

This is a great product easy to put together. My first one has been up over one year and looks as good as the day I put it up. Because it is 60" wide it is much easier to install with two people, but can be done alone.
