I have the 4 slice model I bought at the Home Depot Expo. I am on my second. I exchanged it because I thought the first was defective. It took forever to toast and still had to push down again because not dark even though on dark setting. The second worked a little better initially, but within a few months it was like the first. The style is cute, was looking for the Retro look, but the casing itself is a lightweight metal, cheap looking in person. Learned my lesson and will spring for the dollars and get a heavy duty model from a different manufacturer.
No, I do not recommend this product.

This toaster is a cute addition to any kitchen. It seems a bit bulky though. Being that Delonghi is a top of the line brand, or at least I thought, I thought it would have been higher quality. It feels kinda light. I think I would have probably purchased the cuisinart if I would have compared them side by side, I bought this online. As far as toasters go, it does the job!
