LG Quality,
October 8, 2006
By Brelly
from Yukon, OK
"This is an amazing dishwasher. It is so sleek, functional and sturdy. It has so many useful features that I don't know how I got through dishes beforehand. Forget prewashing, dishes come out spotless everytime! I have actually opened it mid cycle to make sure it was running because it is so quiet. I love all the features from the sanitarty rinse, the half load wash to the wine glass holders. Prior to our dishwasher we bought an LG microwave and refrigerator and are thrilled with our LG kitchen."

nothing but problems,
July 19, 2008
By cspa

"The dishwasher is great looking and quiet, but that's it.The wash cycles are long and the wheels are small. But the real problem is that within a few months of purchase, I started having problems. It was installed in Dec. 2006 and I've already had the repairman in 5 times. The latest problem which if I have it repaired will cost me close to $400.00. Last month it cost me over $100.00. I will be replacing it with another brand. If you do purchase this model, I would also recommend purchasing the extended warranty, you'll need it!"

NOTHING BUT TROUBLE FROM THE BEGINNING,
April 21, 2008
By ART11064
from New Orleans, LA
"Purchased this dishwasher in Feb 2006. Parts have been breaking off ever since. Unit could only wash in Normal Load cycle. Power scrub cycle ended in error after the first year of use.Rollers on the trays constantly pop off and the silverware basket is nearly immpossible to remove.
Only positive was that it was stainless and never rusted.
Save yourself a lot of trouble and purchase the warranty because your going to need it.

Not Very Durable,
March 28, 2008
By Anonymous
from Colorado Springs, Colorado
"We bought this dishwasher hoping to have a nice looking, quiet, yet effective dishwasher. It does look nice; it is quiet, yet it is not effective. It takes a couple hours to wash, does not do a very good job washing, and we have barely had it long enough to expire the warranty when it suddenly stops working. Seems there is a problem with this model where it suddenly quits working and starts flashing an LE code. Posts on the Internet show this is a common problem found now that more people have tried this model out. Would recommend finding a different model or a different make/model."

"My husband chose this dishwasher when we were updating our kitchen. We have other LG appliances and he liked the way it looked. It has a lot of space, we are able to load pots we used to have to wash by hand b/c they did not fit into our old dishwasher & with a large family, we are able to load all the dishes with no problem. I love the child lock and sanitary features & how quiet it is, however our plasticware usually isn't dry and I have noticed we now get spots on the glassware & plasticware. Overall, the positive outweighs the negative ."

Regret making this purchase,
September 22, 2007
By Mand
"We purchased all LG appliance when we built our home in Sept. 06 and I love the stove, fridge, and microwave...but hate the dishwasher. Although quiet that is the only positive quality of this dishwasher. I had to break off the tops to the silverware rack b/c my forks and knives wouldn't fit in to slots in the basket. My cereal bowls don't fit anywhere. If I place them on the bottom, I can not fit my dinner dishes and if placed on top they always fall backwards b/c the rack is adjustable and won't hold them into place. They are fiestaware not hugh bowls. As another reviewer stated the wheels are very small and even have come off a few times if the dishwasher is full and I am trying to move it back into place. Also, my son put some magnets on the front of it and it is completely scratched. For the price that we paid for this dishwasher, compared to others, I am sooo disappointed. Spend your money on something else..."

lg stainless steel dishwasher,
August 15, 2007
By shaven

"I bought this washer in May 2007 and it has been non-stop problems.
One, it leaves glassware, silverware, and plates with a haze and spots; even after using different brand/kinds of detergetns (powder, tablets, liquid). My hot water temperature is as required (120 deg).
Second, there is a couple of water leaks around the bottom of the door. Could be a bad seal!
Third, the bottom rack, once full with plates, is hard to roll in and out, wheels get stuck. Wheels are really small on this dishwasher.
Fourth, on the top rack, if you place items close to the corners, they will never wash. I have seen this for the last 3 months. The problem seems to be the middle sprayer, looks small in diameter. The top spayer is even smaller. Could be a bad design!
The only good thing about this diswasher is how quiet it is.
My old dishwasher (another brand) that just quit before this one lasted 6 years and was trouble-free plus dishes were always sparkling clean.

Quiet but not clean,
May 16, 2007
By MomJane
from St Louis, Missouri
"I have had my LG dishwasher for about 2 months now. The repairman has been here twice with another appointment scheduled for tomorrow. It is quiet, no complaints there, but the water simply does not get hot enough to clean greasy dishes, even after having the orginal heater replaced. The dishes NEVER come out dry. The drying method is a hot water rinse that theoretically leaves the dishes hot enough to dry. A fan blows to remove the humid air. No extra heat is applied for drying. I usually have to dry the dishes before I can put them in the cabinet. In the time I spend putting them away, I could have washed them myself."

Sounds of Silence,
April 30, 2007
By Mary1098
from Franklinville, NJ
"We moved into a relatively new house 3 years ago. The appliances were horrible. When I had to replace the refrigerator, I splurged on the dishwasher. There was a great amount of difficulty getting it running the first month; seemed it was one problem after another but LG saw the problems through, the repair & delivery/set-up people were great. The dishwasher is HUGE! Cleans like a dream & best of all, you don't even hear it running! Best splurge I ever made!"

Best Dishwasher Made,
April 19, 2007
By Circlek
from Snellville, GA
"We bought this dishwasher in October of 2006 and have washed hundreds of loads of dishes.
I was skeptical on buying one of the most expensive dishwashers, but my wife said it looked nice.
Since I do most of the dishes, I really just wanted one that was quiet and worked. This is by far the most quiet and best washing dishwasher I have ever seen.
I have a 17 month old daughter and she loves pushing the buttons, so I am thankful for the child lock.
We have had no problems and I would highly recommend this to anyone."

Very Quite,
April 6, 2007
By JRich
from Chattanooga, TN
"This is our first LG but not our last. With our old dishwaher that came with the house, we would not be able to run it while watching television, it was soooo loud! We would turn it on when we were leaving because the noise was so aggrivating.
This LG is amazingly quite, we have to put our ear next to it to see if its running. We are very pleased! We love it!

Forgot what Quite was..,
October 23, 2006
By Flyboy88

"WOW! My wife has always pre washes the dishes in the sink prior to putting them into the dishwasher and while she was not home I put in a load that was from the day before and they came out spotless.
This dishwasher is so quite you have to put your ear next to it to see if it is washing. We have had the unit for almost a year now and I have gotten use to the quiteness of it and last weekend we were at a friends new home and we had to move into another room to talk when she started her new dish washer.
We also have the LG Washer and Dryer and love them also.

First LG,
August 3, 2006
By Diane
from Connecticut
"This has to be the most quiet dishwasher I have every had. When it was installed and we turned it on for the first time we thought it was not working. So quiet you can barely hear it.
Dishes are dryer than the last one I had which was an upscale Maytag. Maytag now make the worse d/w. So far I love the LG and would recommend it to anyone

Super quiet, but flawed...,

"The ONLY problem I can report about this dishwasher is that the rollers that the wire baskets ride on are constantly breaking. The cost about $10 to replace 4 of them and I the dishwasher has a total of eighteen ! This could get expensive."

Fabulous Dishwasher!,
June 6, 2006
By Jodi
from Florence, Kentucky
"If you are looking for a dishwasher, this one is *the* best value for the money! It is incredibly quiet- you can barely hear it standing only 5 feet away- and what you do hear sounds more like little waves hitting the side of a boat than a dishwasher. It is so quiet, it is almost amazing it gets the dishes so clean! You can put dishes with dried on food particles, etc. directly in the dishwasher and it will come out clean- no exceptions! If you are looking for hassle-free, exceptional dish cleaning- this is the dishwasher for you!"

Very quiet,
May 29, 2006
By Mira
from Moorpark, CA
"Besides all the features listed on this site I'd like to add a few. This dishwasher is very quiet which was a very pleasant surprise to me. I can watch the TV or go to sleep and not worry about the sound of a dishwasher. No matter which cycle I choose, dishes come out spotless! You will be notified when the cycle is complete with a very pleasant sound... none of the annoying buzzing sounds. The "half load" feature comes in very handy when I have just a few dishes, but its large capacity has plenty of room when needed. I used to have to guess when to refill the Rinse Aid. This dishwasher has a cute LED right on the front panel that will light up when the Rinse Aid gets too low."
