I purchased this LG dryer and an LG washer on 6/23/06. I love them! I have noticed the drying time is significantly less than with my old standard dryer. Plus less lint! I am not sure why but there is less lint even with a load of towels. They are quiet and highly efficient. My electricity bill has noticed it as well.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I brought my LG Dryer on 5/20/2007. I have owned it for only two months. The dryer LED's lights up and starts to count down as if it is drying. But it never starts. It will not start to dry the clothes. I have had an applicance repair person out to see what the problem is, but they have never seen this type of problem and can not figure out what is wrong. I WANT A NEW DRYER!!! I paid too much money for a dryer that has all those fancy lights but does not work.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I got this along with an LG washer and they make a wonderful pair. Not only are they pretty to look at (I hate keeping them behind the closed doors of my laundry closet) but they work spectacularly well. They are both quieter than my older models and this dryer automatically adjusts it's time to the moisture level of the load. I love the lit interior too - makes finding those rogue socks easier. I have noticed that the countdown timer is more of an estimate than actual time but the end of cycle alert makes sitting and waiting unecessary - I just listen for the alert and then I go get my laundry out.
Yes, I recommend this product.

It's been 10 years since I was in the market for a new dryer, and the choices are many. There were several features I was looking for that my old dryer didnt have. #1) lighted drum, #2) end of load signal, #3) largest capacity I could afford. This dryer has all of those and many more. It is more energy efficient (electric bill reflects that) and takes so much less time to dry a load. It adjusts itself on its own and can dry a load as fast as my 10 year old washer can wash a load. The drying rack is a neat feature as well, works great with tennis shoes. It is worth all the money I paid. Now I'm going to save up for the matching washer!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Faster dry time, less lint, quality construction, make this a must have. Has dryer rack for sweaters or sneakers and a lighted drum which is plenty large. I just hope it lasts long enough to justify the 800. price tag.
