We just bought ours and this GE slide in gas range is working great. The stainless steel look also allows it to blend in with our refridgerator. which we purchased last year from Home Depot. The stove top grates are designed with functionality. Would have been nice to have this particular model with a center burner or the control knobs stainless steel but those are minor. The price is very reasonable for it's type and classification. Qualified for a 10% reduction and a $100 gift card, plus free delivery and haul away of our old ugly appliance, so it was a nice deal.
There's nothing better or more reliable to cook with than gas. Gas has 1000 different heat settings; Cooking is almost instananeous; Even though this range is alittle pricey, you get what you pay for and you will save $ with gas over electric. We have power failures here in Hawaii atleast once a year, that doesn't stop us from cooking dinner.
Looks may not be your first consideration when buying a range, but I must say that everyone who sees my kitchen comments on this one's beauty. It looks solid and substantial without looking industrial. Unlike freestanding ranges, the controls are in front. That means that you don't need to reach over hot burners and pots to get at them. The flame level is easy to control and I particularly like the small burner that gives lower heat for simmering. My only niggling complaint about this appliance is the black top, which collects dust in the blink of an eye. Because the two-piece grate covers the entire cooking area, you have to take the whole grate off to clean under it. However, that's a small price to pay for an otherwise outstanding range.
I purchased this oven based on an online picture and description. It was delivered Saturday and exceed my expectations. This oven looks like it should have cost twice as much. I have not used it much but I am pleased with the touch controls and the speed of the pre-heat. Even though this is a 4 burner oven..there is a grate over the oven heat exhaust in the center of the back of the range that can be used to keep a dish warm while baking. ...GREAT OVEN>>GREAT PRICE!

No, I do not recommend this product.
This range looks great but how do you get it to stop rattling???There is an exhaust type thing in the middle that looks like a fifth burner but all it seems to do is rattle. If anyone can let me know how they got theirs to stop rattling please let me know!!!
