It is harder to get use to than I thought. A grill is a grill but it is either too hot or not hot enough. I am sure it is to do with the amount of air the coals are getting or not getting and the amount of coals used. Hope I can learn the "just right" method soon. It is very sturdy and should last a while.

excellent, quick and easy to handle. Ash reservoir works great and it makes it all so simple without mess. Cooking is fabulous on it. Will always continue to buy the product as time moves on. It is worth every penny!

I purchased this BBQ for our employees to use at our office. The BBQ has a container underneath that not only catches and contains the ashes it also has a lever to open and close the bottom ventilation chamber for the briquets. This is a very sturdy product. The lid has a hangar mount on the inside of it so you can hang the lid off the BBQ outside handle. The grill screen has a similar bend in both handles so you can do the same.

We had our previous Webber since 1990. Left out, uncovered all year long. Worked great for countless meals. It owed me nothing. The new grill is awesome! Much improved! A great grilling experience! The new hinged grate is super for adding wood or coals. The ash containment system is excellent! I would reccomend this grill to any one who still grills for real.... Coal and wood.

First day cooking on this grill was today and it was great. I bought a cover and put it on soon as I put it together. We had a lot of rain and there was some rust on my grill, that is the only dissapointment.

I've had this model grill (in red) since March 1995 and after all these years it's still fantastic. Granted I've had to replace almost everything but the legs and the kettle itself over the years from a lot of use, but Summers just wouldn't be complete without Big Red. I hope to pass it on to my kids someday!

I've always owned gas grills but got fed up with burner change outs, filling the tanks etc.
Food taste much better on a real charcaol grill. It only takes a couple more minutes of prep time but so worth it.
Easy to maintain and always ready to go. Thanks Weber

This is a great grill. We had our last one for over 20 years but when we saw the new colors thought it was time to get a new one. We grill at least 3 time a week and really like the weber grills.

I have been a gas griller for many years but I have struggled to reproduce the flavor that my father created with his Weber Kettle. I finally gave up and bought a Weber One-Touch Gold charcoal grill. I have 'tricked it out' with a number of accessories and I couldn't be happier. Charcoal, combined with wood chunks is vastly superior to the neutral flavor of gas. Home Depot offered the grill with free shipping to my home...a big plus! I know that most folks use gas grills because of their ease of use. Consider however, that a chimney starter will bring hardwood or briquets up to temperature in a very short time and the addition of a wood chunk or two will produce flavors unmatched by any gas grill!!
