Although the photo shows a shelf in the freezer...there isn't one and there is also no dairy compartment door. You can order them separately!!!!

If I had seen it in the store i would have not buy it, because the materials that is done from don't seem good quality, the plastic and all.
It's so loud you listen to it all the time wherever you are in the apartment.
The door is so difficult to open.

I bought this refrigerator for my small mountain cabin and it's by far the worst thing I've ever bought from Home Depot--and a lousy refrigerator. First, it doesn't come with many necessary "accessories," such as a closure for the butter niche in the door. I invested another nearly-$100 in extra accesories to make the frig better. But soon, as other reviewers have noted, the shelves started falling down, especially the bottom shelf attached to the vegetable drawer. The inside of the frig is too large for the width of the shelf and it constantly, infuriatingly, falls off, especially when the frig is full. Also, as others have noted, if I set it cold enough for the freezer items to be safely frozen, the vegetables and so on are ruined by freezing in the refrigerator.
This frig is inexpensive and looks good in the store, but over time you will see what a poor investment it truly is.
It was not worth the $399--I've probably lost at least that in ruined food--and if I could return it I would do so. I don't understand why Home Depot continues to carry this low quality item.

I am very happy with this appliance. I bought it as a second refrigerator and I am very happy with how efficient it is. It is quiet, spacious, and keeps things cold in the refrigerator and frost free in the freezer department. My electric bill has barely increased!

We have just moved into a rental house with a brand new version of this fridge. It stinks on several counts!
1) It is loud. We have our windows open (no a/c or heat to drown it out), and you can hear this fridge running and running.
2) It has no butter door and no freezer shelves.
3) The temperature can only be controlled by one knob, for the entire unit. If I set it cold enough to keep my frozen goods frozen, the greens and water pitcher in my fridge turn to ice; if I set it warm enough to not freeze my fridge, my frozen foods thaw and the boxes turn wet. Um, what's the point?

I just purchased this refrigerator for my garage and found it to be loud compared to my GE refrigerator in my kitchen. For those who do not think it is loud I can only surmise that they have not had a quiet running refrigerator. I would say it is like going from a regular dishwasher to a new, quiet running dishwasher. There is a BIG difference. I'm glad this frig is in my garage where I won't have to hear it when it is running.
It is strange about the butter lid. The holes are there so I'm not sure why it isn't included. I won't be using it but if I were it would be a problem.

I don't understand some of the reviews that stated the refrigerator was loud. Most of the time the refrigerator doesn't even make any noise (I get nervous that it's not even on), and when it does make noise, it's quiet. If you have any doubt whether to purchase this refrigerator, please throw that out. This is a wonderful refrigerator for the amazing low price!
The only negative is there is no cover for the butter bin on the swinging door. Other than that, I am 100% satisfied!

I always read reviews before purchasing the product. You will not find a better price on this quality of a product. I searched online and through various retail stores.
The delivery team arrived on time, set up the refrig in the basement within 20 minutes. I plugged it in and loaded it with soda, milk and beer. It works great. The noise level is not want other reviews indicated. It runs relativity quietly. Other reviews must not have leveled it. I am totally pleased so far with the refrig. If I have any problems, I shall do a follow up review at a later date.

I recently decked out my garage in Harley Davidson decor. This fridge completes the space. It is fuctinal and works well. Keeps the malted barley beverages cold! For the price, you can't beat this GE made appliance. I didn't give it five stars because it didn't come with the butter shelf door.

Love the roominess of this small frig,runs great.,except for: Freezer door opens everytime,I shut the frig door! Driving me nuts.,Complained to GE,set up an appt.,will see what happens. It needs a stronger magnet or something.

We purchased this refridgerator online and absolutely love it. It fit perfectly in our kitchen as it was not too big and not too small, just right. The gentlemen that installed it were on time and professional. And, they took like 3 minutes to install it!! I couldn't give it 5 stars because I could have sworn it was supposed to come with an ice maker & ours did not.

For the price, this refrigerator is AVERAGE. For an apartment or a small kitchen, the size is perfect. BUT the motor runs constantly and it is LOUD. It overshadows the TV two rooms away.

I ordered the 15.6 Cu. Ft. refrigerator, last week for my garage, just to have an extra refrigerator, to put things in when I do a lot of cooking during the holiday's, because I have a side by side in my kitchen, and it does not have enough refrigerator space. I love this refrigerator, it is just the right size for what I need. It runs very quiet.
I would recommend it to anyone, that needs a smaller refrigerator. It's Great

Great price, great product! The unit comes without the butter lid and a shelf for the freezer, both of which I easily purchased through the Home Depot Appliance number.

Best Bang for the Buck. I own a few rental properties and I've put this fridge, along with the matching range in all of them. I've even installed the dishwasher in two properties.
All five fridges I've installed have ran quietly and without problem for the 6 months since they've been bought. As said above, the fridge is actually made by GE. Great appliance for the money. Replace that ole' brown fridge today!

Just received last night all the way from Miami. Two great guys delivered it who did not know the Keys well but still found us on Geiger Key. They were quick to unload and bring in and set it up in 2 seconds. It is georgeous, roomy and very modern, has plenty of room and for the money nothing can touch it for at least 200 dollars more. Much better than what I had expected and i highly recomend it to anyone that wants to save money and still have a fine frig. Thks Home Depot, you saved our lives and we really appreciate the additional discount and free shipping in these difficult times. Cant wait to buy from you again!

This Fridge is actually made by GE, with the proprietary label "Americana" just for the Home Depot. The nice part about this fridge is that you can buy optional equipment from the home depot website if you know what you are doing. If you select "GE" as the brand you can find the cover for the dairy compartment in the door, and the rack for the freezer. If you feel the need you can even buy the separate drawers for the bottom of the refrigerator, as the current setup has the center track to support them.
The fridge itself is very quiet, and it has encased parts so you never have to climb underneath it to vacuum out dust and disgusting messes like the old fridges. Its very aesthetically pleasing as well...featuring molded door handles, clean white ABS plastic that does not stain easily, and powder coated steel racking that is not quite as nice as glass...but for $400 dollars, the fridge is quite remarkable.
I was able to use a coupon in July and have the credit promotion extended from 6 months to 12months becuase a few days later that changed...HD credit services has always been good to customers in that way.
The only thing that I would say is a "Negative" blemish on this fridges review is that it didn't come with the Diary Enclosure OR the freezer rack...this perplexed me at first as the manual that comes with it specifically says "(Not included with all models)" next to the ice maker parts...but just gives install instructions for the "Dairy Door" and "Freezer Shelf" leading one to believe that these items were supposed to come with the fridge...especially since it is quite evident that they are missing.
I would recommend this product to others because its yearly operation cost is estimated at only $48 dollar per year AND is quite spacious. As a single person, its a little more than I need...but for a small family of three, its probably perfect.
If one is not concerned about finances, they should upgrade to a better appliance that features the above missing accouterments, plus many additional ones.

I like everything about this refrigerator, but I'm really disappointed that you have to SPECIAL ORDER the little flip cover to the butter/dairy storage area in the door and it costs about twenty bucks! I'm just glad the shelves came standard and I didn't have to SPECIAL ORDER those! Otherwise the fridge is fine.
