The LASKO Wind Curve 42in. Oscillating Tower Fan with Fresh Air Ionizer is a portable stand-alone fan with slip-resistant feet. The fan is 42 in. tall for excellent air circulation and features 3 quiet speed settings. For indoor use, the fan features a fresh air ionizer. It all depends on what each individual wants. We sleep with this fan to the side of our bed and find it to give us all the breeze needed for comfort on Medium. It circulates the air quitely and the height for most beds works very well. The timing feature is also excellent and comes in handy.

The LASKO Wind Curve 13 in. Oscillating Tower Fan with Fresh Air Ionizer is a great fan. The LASKO fan that this one replaced worked almost continuously 24/7 for the past 4 years. LASKO has proved itself in providing excellent quality fans -- and like the "little pink bunny" their fans just keep on going and going and going.

I use this fan to circulate air in my bedroom.Three speeds are great.Very guiet even on high speed.A fan is not an A/C unit ,it only moves the air temp that exist in the room.All and all it was really easy to put the base on,just plug it in. Love the remote.Moves the air very good and even looks good doing it.Price with free shipping an excellent deal.

I live in TX and in the middle of our 100 degree heat my rotating fans went out. I went to every store but since it was already the beginning of fall, no good fans were in the stores only fireplace items and heater. I search all the websites and Home Depot had the best price and the best stock. I really love my new fans and I use them continuously,they are super quiet. The Ionizer is great, producing fresh cool air.

I really like this fan. It puts out a lot of air and I like the ionizer. I live in a place with no screens and felt that the air was stale untill I got this product. It was a snap to put together. Even thought it's more then I wanted to pay....it was worth every penny!!!

My wife has allergies. Putting this in the bedroom has seemed to help at night. The remote is a nice feature when retiring for the night. It is so silent it makes it perfect to run all night long when we want to. The operating feature's symbols are self exlanitory making use easy.

Nice and quiet. Perfect for the corner of a room. Easy to assemble but you might need a friend to help. Having a second pair of eyes helps to see whether the screws are in the correct places. Tilting the fan also aids in the quick and simple assembly. A good purchase for warmer climates. The remote control is a great feature, but we have not used it yet.

You will never go wrong with this fan, it is by far the best one I have ever purchased, and it is less expensive here in Home Depot than in Walmart or anywhere else I checked, and believe me I do my homework before I purchase anything. The Features of this fan are by far better than any other on the market, and it puts out an impressive flow of air.

OK, here's the short and skinny on this product. I am telling you the honest truth here. "This product is pure junk for a tower fan." Please don't waste your money. Buy a windtunnel instead which blows 3X more air than this pretty piece of junk. Lasko should be ashamed of themselves and I'm ashamed for wasting $55.00 on this. I live in Houston, TX and it's very hot where I live. To prove my theory I put the fan less than 3 feet away from me in my bedroom. There is also another fan in the same room with me. I fell asleep and woke up drenched in sweat. *Conclusion* This fan blows air, yes. It doesn't even blow it that good. It swivels, yes. It has ionization, yes. It's a nice looking tower fan with the wood grain, yes. It's garbage and a waste of money, yes. These fans are "Supplemental Air Circulators" not real fans like the Lasko Windtunnel fan which is what I should have gotten in the first place.This Wind Curve 42 in. Oscillating Tower Fan with Fresh Air Ionizer is "NOT A COOLING DEVICE" like an air conditioner and will not cool a room because it doesn't even blow cool air, it just blows air and oscillates or swivels, period. Take this review seriously from someone who lives in a state that sees 100 degree weather four out of seven days a week. "Buyer Beware".

Great fan for the price. I am pregnant and with the extreme heat this summer in Texas, i was not able to stay cool. I use it at night and it has made my room much cooler. Other fans were pricey. If you are looking for a fan that is quiet, cool air, and reasonably priced, then this is the fan!
