I have been using my K-1 kerosene for lamp fuel in my collection of miners lamps for a couple of years. I buy antique kerosene miners lamps, repair them and test them by lighting them and ensuring that they work as well as when they are new.
In the past I had used regular kerosene for my tests but it doesn't burn as well as as the K-1 kerosene. Once I have tested the lamps, I have to clean them and get them ready to sell. The K-1 kerosene saves me almost half the time as standard kerosene because it doesn't smoke like regular kerosene. It also burns much brighter and more consistantly than regular kerosene. When I sell one of my projects locally, I always give them a bottle of the K-1 fuel and let them know where to get more.
I use kerosene more than most people (I sometimes sound like Hank Hill and his propane and propane products) and I am totally satisfied with with the quality and price of this excellent product.
