Rate the overall product one star. Received the shower door kit with damaged parts for the mounting frame direct from Kohler. The one set of dents in the frame were perpendicular to the length and could not have been damaged in shipment. Also the box arrived with no damage to it. It had to have been shipped damaged. It has been over a month since I ordered it and I still do not have replacement parts. Kohler does not seem to be in any hurry to get the parts to me and my tile people are starting on the shower next monday. Very poor response to the customer.
Pros: Nice Design
Cons: Build Quality, poor customer service problem resolution
No, I do not recommend this product.

This product is delivered in one compact, heavy box that was well padded. The instructions are clear and accurate. The handles on shower doors ALWAYS get loose and just look ugly after a wile, but not this one as it goes THROUGH the glass with NO chance of getting loose. The nickel plating is a different soft look that is very pleasing. Kohler designed and executed a wonderful looking product that is absolutely great when it is installed. Just be careful and precise when measuring and cutting. Caulk well (I like the look of white silicone along the edges, then use clear to seal between the parts). I did not caulk the top frame to the wall as it doesn't need to be waterproof at that spot and it looks cleaner (as long as you did a good cut). I installed this in my vacation condo in Florida 1 year ago and it still looks great.
In short it was easy to install, easy to customize to whatever size you would need and it looks FABULOUS.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I purchase this bypass sliding doors with reservation. I had my heart set on a frameless door but could not see spending over two grand for it. I read the reviews and decided to purchase this Kohler glass door. I am so happy with it. My contractor had no problem installing it and they look fabulous. The glass is great always looks clean. I would highly recommend them. Great value, $325 plus free shipping! You can't go wrong.

Produce is just as expected, and installation went cleanly. I suggest two people to to mark the screw holes for the side pieces. One to hold steady and vertical, the other to mark. Save drilling twice.

I've had these shower doors installed for about a month now and they're a great addition to my basement bathroom. The installation wasn't bad or too time consuming...about 3 hours or so (drilling thru the tile was probably the worst part). The clear glass really opened the bathroom quite nicely to show off the tile. I am pleased with the doors so far. Just be sure to read through the instructions to avoid cutting one of the tracks too short. The only suggestion i would have is to caulk where the U channel (runs along the base of the bottom track on the shower side) meets the wall track. I had a little water leaking outside the shower even though all the necessary joints were caulked according to the instructions. Threw some silicone in there and plugged it right up. The coating on the inside of the glass is also a plus, just needs a quick squeegie...just wish it was on both panes of glass. Beyond that, the doors work perfectly, no problems, looks great. Definitely had the look I was going for without the cost.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Review 9 for Fluence 47-5/8 in. x 70-5/16 in. Frameless Bypass Shower Door in Matte Nickel with Clear Glass
I'm a homeowner, not a pro, so it took me about 5 hours to install the door into my shower. The hardest part of the operation was cutting the top cross piece. I didn't have a miter box, so I used a hand held hacksaw and managed to cut a mostly straight line. I ended up grinding down the cut to make it fit into the shower stall.
Other than this operation, the next most time consuming step was drilling six holes into porcelain tile. Turns out that a broken tile bit works the best for working your way through the material. Like I said, I'm not a pro...
The door looks great and substantial and I would recommend it to you.

This shower door system was very easy to install. The instructions are the best I have ever seen from any product. Took me about two hours to install it. It makes a huge difference in the appearance of my bathroom. It is suprising that all of the weight of the two doors is held up by two little holes near the edge of the glass, and there is no rubber bushing in the U-channel to help "Squeeze" the glass, just metal-on-glass, but I guess it will hold! It is a little weird having a towel bar on the inside of the shower. Would be nice to have more of a small handle rather than a huge bar. Very impressed. I did not have a suitable miter box, but it was easy enough to cut the top and bottom pieces square.
Yes, I recommend this product.

We just finished replacing our shower with travertine and marble tile and this door really finished off the project beautifully. The instructions were fairly easy to follow though there were a few different papers that we had to switch back and forth between and sometimes it wasn't clear exactly where to put the bushings and which parts they were referring to but with a little added common sense my husband and I got the door up in a couple hours. One note, you have to lay the bottom track first and then put in the side tracks second. Once you put the side tracks in you cannot remove the bottom so after making all your holes and before you screw down the sides make sure you put some calking under that bottom track. We neglected to do this unfortunately. Our metal cut-off saw came in handy for trimming down the top and we used the Roto-Zip with the diamond stone cutting blade to drill the holes. We also found that the screws and the anchors provided were not adequate for going through our 1/2' travertine tiles so we used 2 1/2" deck screws instead to ensure we were secured to the studs. Also, our walls were about a 1/2" out of plumb leaving large gaps but with the available adjustments we were able to adjust this and now it is not visible without incredibly close inspection that things are not as even as they should be so we were pleased with the install process and final product. Good luck!
