"fan doesn't provide enough light, makes noise, and after only one year won't reverse direction to circulate air. Don't waste your $$$$$$ on this fan"

"The fan itself is of really good quality, quiet and attractive. However, if you are hoping to use it as a main lighting source you may want to look elsewhere. The fact that it runs three 40W bulbs sounds like it would put out a generous amount of light but once you throw in the filtering of the light shade, the output is little more than mood lighting. Still a good product for other uses."

"I am really impressed with not only the fan itself, but the manufacturer too - Hampton Bay makes a great product! It fits in perfectly with everything in my living room. It is quiet, it is powerful, and best of yet the remote that comes with it provides for ease of use. I am looking to purchase a fan or two more and I am looking at Hampton Bay again, possibly even the same fan."
