"I've had this product for over a year now and am still amazed how great this works. It is light, so if you need to stuff it in another room until used it's easy to carry if necessary. Get a plant coaster, if not! Extremely efficient with a weak well. Delivery came sooner than expected and THEY lugged it up the stairs! NO REGRETS!!"

"The washer arrived promptly within the time frame promised. The outer packaging was pretty trashed but the inner packaging and the unit were in perfect condition. Followed the directions easily, hooked it up, had one minor drip at the faucet connection but a little teflon tape around the faucet threads solved that. It washes better than my full size washer. I am HIGHLY impressed. I live in interior Alaska, haul my own water to a holding tank, and only use the full size machine in summer on a gray water system. About three loads in the Haier equal a load in the full size but it uses much less water in the three than the full size does in one. It wrings well also. I haven't had any out of balance issues, nor any of the other issues mentioned in other reviews. It is also very quiet. I can sit within 5 feet of it and listen to music or watch TV without having to turn the volume up. This amazing little machine is saving me hundreds of dollars at the laundromat not to mention the time spent there. Overall, it's an awesome little machine. I highly recommend it."

"It is a great product, works wonderfully. The washer does more wash in one washing than you would expect. Just have to watch the hose where it hooks to the sink for the drain, it leaks sometimes, but not all the time. I solved the problem by putting a clamp on the hose. I would highly recommend it for someone in a apartment."

"This machine is pretty decent, it can wash 2 bath towels..if u add 1 more the spinner does not work well. It can wash good but doesnt spin dry so much. I have to do 2 cycle wash to thoroughly wash the laundry."

Great compact machine for small family,

"Delivery: perfect condition, very well boxed, timely, no dents or damage
Assemby: easy hose connection (though mine is useless because my sink faucet is not typical; the bottom plate is very thin aluminum with screw holes that will not match up, but a very small issue. Just make sure all sides are screwed in at the corners. You need to install it with the concave towards the floor. The illustration in manual is useless.
Load: decent size load; 3-4 loads is equal to about a medium of the regular-sized washer. You can fit a lot of toddler clothes in this washer. Adult clothes is limited, as well as bedding. Long pants or shirt sleeves can tangle a bit. I'ved even washed twin sheets, towels, smaller comforters, and rugs with great results. Heavy stains don't wash out too good (this goes with any washer I guess).
Washer pulse washes with low noise level. The initial spin to wring out water is pretty loud. The actual spin cycyle noise level is lower and spins intermittently. The result is very dry clothes.
Problems: There were occasional malfunction with machine detecting water levels. Therefore, do not leave the machine alone when it is close to being done with filling the tub. If it is full and does not ring or stop at capacity, turn off the water and shift the tub gently from side to side. If this doesn't work, turn the capacity nob to the lower level, then back.
I was a little skeptical since some people did get faulty machines with questionable Haier customer service and problems with having the machine fixed. I'm happy with mine and hope it will last a few years. Having this machine beats giong to the laundry room or the laundry mat. Now I need a compact dryer."

"For such a small appliance, it does a remarkable job at washing clothes, towels, and even bed linens. Once you read the instructions (and keep it for later reference), this machine is quite easy to use. Perfect as a second washer for upstairs, or for apartment dwellers, but don't expect to wash anything like comforters or blankets with this, because of the small capacity. Warning: it may look small, but it's somewhat heavy for a "portable" machine, and it is hardly a "tabletop" model."

"LOVE THIS WASHER. I do wish I had purchased the size larger one, but this one is great for one person. It will handle two days cloths or my set of twin sheets. Delivery from home depot was horrible... they sent it UPS and I was not home so UPS left it outside. I live on third floor, no elevator.. so I had to carry it by myself up 3 flights or chance it being stolen in my apartment community. It is very heavy - I would have preferred to pay for home deliver and have it brought upstairs. I would have exchanged it for the larger size, but cant carry it down the stairs and the new one back up, so I am living with the small one and just run it more often. It is perfect for one person but for a family I would buy the larger units. Directions were very difficult to understand when installing plate under washer and even the lint filter.. pictures would have helped since directions are in engineer-eese. All in all I give it five starts...beats going to the basment for a community washer."

Haier's .91 Appliance Fairies Have Arrived!,

"Greetings-
I purchased this washer because of all of the detailed reviews. I felt like I knew what I was getting beforehand.
I didn't.
It is the most amazing machine in the world. It has been running nonstop for two weeks. I look for things to wash now. The trick is not to overstuff with clothes. The review of the guy (the really long review that included camera shots of rpms, etc.) who wrote how much clothing to put in at one time was dead-on! Perfect. Clothes are very, very clean indeed. I had been doing the wash by hand for a long time and this little washer has saved my hands and back and neck. You really have no clue how cool this machine is until you receive it. Like a Toyota, it ain't big--it ain't pretty--but it works like a champ!
There are a few tricks I have discovered: we have a queen-size bed and I didn't think I could fit a sheet (one sheet at a time, mind you) in the small tub and get it clean enough. You can. Take the dry sheet and tie two very loose, large knots toward the center. Do this length-wise. Wash on the regular wash setting. After it is complete, retie it in the center this time (remember a large, loose knot), and wash once more on the quick cycle. The sheets are perfectly clean and not at all tangled. I use hot water for extra sanitizing. This works well. No more creepy, germy public laundry houses, or bending over the bathtub for clean sheets.
Careful not to strip your water connection hoses. They work well but could easily be stripped and leak. Check water connection hose filter every few loads. Mine are always full of crud and sediment as the filter is minuscule.
Also watch your soap input. I have found that a quarter cup or so of liquid soap works best. I have not had any trouble at all. No leaking, hardly any noise, or even vibration when this little gem spins the clothing almost dry. For those of you without a dryer, you will be impressed by how well this little workhorse spins out the water--it's a miracle.
With this said, please buy this machine. It will change your life. Read all reviews. Heed the advise; most every review is helpful and accurate. Save the poor blokes that got a rare lemon--hey, it happens."

"I ordered the Haier HLP21E as a temporary solution until my very expensive washing machine could be recovered from the back of an over packed 30' storage shed. I had used a Haier tabletop dishwasher for over a year and has been very pleased with it. Both units came with hard to use sink adapters I discarded and used the normal washing machine hookups and drains for both units. Water consumption is a fraction of what it was with the larger machine and I've only had to wash two loads in a row since it arrived.
My electric water heater is on a timer, heats only in the early morning and after I have a shower I wash whites in the morning and colors in the afternoon. The HLP21E is hooked to the hot water connection, my Haier dishwasher to the cold water.(Dishwasher heats its own water.)
This unit is barely large enough for a family of two and won't handle bedding larger than a twin bed's.
When I finally clean out that storage bin I intend to give away my very expensive washing machine and keep my Haier washer."

Affordable and Excellent for Small Apartments,

"This is first of its kind - Affordable Washing Machine which requires less space. You dont need any hook ups. Everthing comes with the machine. you can even hook this up to your kitchen tap and do your laundry. YOU dont need to have seperate room or Connections. It fits in my closet. IS NOT THAT GREAT! I rent a one bedroom apartment and Dont like to use Community Laundry. THIS WORKS JUST GREAT FOR ME.
No wonder, there are negetive sides, like you need to buy additional fitting to avoid any water leak but you can buy from Home depot for under $25.00. THAT NOT at all bad.
