I bout one of these 7 years ago when my son started college and it has been abused in a dorm and then in my office for a couple of years, (moved several times). If finally died about 3 days ago. This has been one tough fridge. I am going this evening to Home Depot and buy another one of the same model. My co-workers who have compact fridges normally only get about 2 to 3 years out of one. I sure hope I get at least another 6 or 7 out of the next one.

I have limited room for a full-sized fridge. I've found that this unit is sufficient enough for my needs. And while I have found that this unit functions adequately, I was disturbed by the slight damage to the unit. Meaning, upon arrival, I unwrapped the product and noticed a slight indentation on the top rear section of the fridge. And although I was purchasing a brand-new unit, I did not expect such an irregularity, this refrigerator serves its purpose for now.

I purchased this refrigerator for my son when he went to college. Now, after two years , I have to purchase another one. It suddenly stopped working and I got the run around to get it repaired or replaced. This appliance looks nice but it is not made to last more than two years. Buyer beware.

This is the 2nd time I have purchased this refrigerator for our outdoor kitchen. For the price it's well worth it and it will last for years. It's amazing how cold it will keep everything and despite its size, it can hold quite a bit because of the design. This refrigerator is easy to keep clean unlike a real stainless steel unit....no fingerprints.

I bought my first one of these in 2008 and it died 2 days ago. From reading the other reviews, it sounds like 2-1/2 years is the average life span. While it was working, it worked great but then it just died with no warning. I went back to Home Depot last night to get a replacement. I wanted to try another brand, but all they had in the store was the Magic Chef. I didn't feel like ordering one and coming back again, so I got another one of the same model. It fits perfect under my counter and looks attractive in my kitchen. This one cost 149.00 plus tax and the local recycler is charging me $25.00 to haul away the old one. I will let you know how this one goes.

Careful with measurements

This fridge is exactly as described. Be careful, however, if you have a tight space to fit this into. We ordered this for our newly built office space, with ADA specified measurements in the kitchen. The under-counter opening was just a hair over 32.5" high, so our previous 32.9" fridge didn't fit. This one does fit, however the door hinge makes it just OVER 32.5" tall. We had to remove the adjustable foot, slide the fridge into the space, then level it with some shims. It works fine, but it would have been nice if it had slid in without any problems. Other than that, it looks nice and works as expected.

This refrigerator is junk. Home Depot is beter than this. If you want your food warm this unit is for you. If you need it cold, than this unit is NOT for you.

Well after even reading the reviews on this frig i went ahead and gave it a try. Well it's junk. It will pull down to 36degrees with nothing in it. But you try putting things in it and it will not get below 50,not good.It makes some weird noises too.. Anyway if you are considering buying this frig be forwarned and take the advise of the others,DO NOT BUY THIS FRIG. Unless you want the hassle of taking it back etc...Anyway its going back tonight and i just got the thing saturday.. Guess i know now why they have it for $99 Its not worth it..Again DO NOT BUY THIS FRIG.

I'm a landlord and I bought two of these models for my studios on separate occassions. They both stopped working after just over two years. They look good but I won't make the same mistake for the third time!

I purchased this refrigerator in the summer of 2006 for my son's college dorm room. I live in Florida, he went to school in another state. Needless to say, the fridge traveled a lot. Despite that, it worked flawlessly until just a couple of days ago. I believe I got my money's worth out of this fridge and am getting ready to purchase another one.

Purchased this for my office but had to take it back because every 5 minutes it makes a loud clicking noise (I am assuming it is the compressor) then it rattles and hums for a few minutes then loudly clicks off. I would not recommend this to anyone if they are looking for a quite compact fridge.

A Decent Little Frig

Bought this for our Kitchenette in our basement and it seems to be a pretty good little frig. Shipped quickly and no hassles. When we looked it over I was surprised to see it had a decent size little freezer in addition to an ice tray drawer - AWESOME for a little frig. Love what it offers for its compactibility. Would recommend.

Purchased at Home Depot August, 2006. Stopped working after nearly 3 years, probably the compressor. 6 months later I finally am taking it to a repair shop to see if it is worth repairing. Will cost about $40 at an authorized repair shop for a checkout. Will write an additional review once I have the estimate or repair cost. FYI.. Local trash hauler wants $60 to dispose of it.

Thanks to a very helpful employee we purchased this for our daughters new apt. This nice looking mini frig has a little freezer compartment that can hold frozen entrees & can freeze ice trays! Most little refigerators only have a tiny ice tray & no other freezing area. The stainless steel looking front is not cheap looking at all. Runs quietly. reasonably priced.

bought it around 2009 thanksgiving, regret it right after opening the box, door cannot be closed and have to adjust it by myself, believe me it is not because of uneven floor but a very bad way-off hinge
