This refrigerator is larger than I expected. It will hold more than I can ever put in it. If you have a large family, it's perfect. It works great.

I purchased this refridgerator just over 3 years ago. This morning I discovered the hard way -- water leaking into the basement below the refridgerator in the kitchen -- that the ice maker's inlet valve had corroded and was heavily leaking. I called a GC for help with the ceiling leaking in the basement and was advised that this fridge will probably last only about 2 more years ... the next to go will be the compressor. I spent over $1,200 on this fridge. Looks great, keeps food very well, but many do that and will last MUCH longer. Quite disappointed. DON'T BUY!

Maybe Maytag is built strong, but it doesn't last long. The fridge stopped working 4 days after the manufacturer's 1 yr warranty expired. Coincidence?

Easy to clean, door can be reversed. Quiet operation. Cools great, Love bottom freezer as don't have to stoop for items used more in refrigerated section. So glad refrigerator makers came up with bottom freezers!! Nice addition to kitchen decor wise also.
would buy again! Price was right.

Refrigerator was so loud -- popping / banging and it continued for weeks. Home Depot was great in working with us. I also would not recommend the bottom freezer -- it's too difficult to find your frozen food, even though there are drawers. It just feels like you're dumping your food in there.

We bought this fridge about a week ago, for our first home. It was our first time purchasing major appliances and Home Depot made it really easy for us. We took advantage of the first time home buyers tax credit, and now we are going to get a energy star tax credit also. The bottom freezer compartment has PLENTY of storage and the unit looks great in our kitchen. Growing up we always had Maytag appliances, and never had a problem. There is also a good warrenty on this product, but we dont think we will need it. Thanks again Home Depot!

Refrigerator was a great buy. We have had it only several days and are amased at how quiet it is. Our last refrigerator was the same size in a side by side. but it seems that the new one holds alot more. The refrigerator was missing two pieces an egg cradle and a wine rack, however a quick call to Maytag and the missing pieces are on the way. I would recommend this refrigerator to everyone.

I love my new bottom freezer refrigerator i got it on 9/16/2006 It has lots of room for food i like the bottom freezer it has a lot of room for food ilike the food at eye level so you can find your food you use more . i would recommend it
