Easiest Frig to Use,

"I have had a lot of experience with many different kinds of refrigerators - commercial, side-by-sde, top-freezer models, you name it. I have never found one so easy to use as this bottom-mounted freezer with a single door! First of all, the most often thing I get out of a freezer is ice - and I do not need a door dispenser for my ice and water. I am just as happy to pop the drawer open, grab what I want out of the conveneint ice tray, and get my water at the sink nearby. (And, the ice maker puts out the ice!!!) But what I really like, is having the refrigerator at counter height!!! Face it - we're in and out of the frig part a whole lot more than the freezer, unless you only eat frozen food. It is so nice to open the door and see everything right there in front of me without having to bend over or else squat like a catcher behind home plate. (And the action of bending over a bit for the freezer is no less troubling than going into a chest freezer, when you think about it.) Now, I had considered the French-door model, in part becasuse it is unique and different. However, in my L-shaped kitchn layout, the refirgerator is at the extreme right end - so even though it would be half-sized, it would be inefficient and somewhat of a nuisance to be opening the left-hand French-door "against" the work-triangle when cooking. (It wouldn't be such a problem, in my opinion, if a French-door model was the central point of the work-triangle, but in my kithcen, the sink is the central point and the range is the left point.) So, I couldn't be happier with this choice of refrigerator and its ease of use. It is also quiet, easy to clean, and well lit, which are all added bonuses!"

"I was going to purchase the LG refrigerator/freezer since I had already decided on the LG range. Unfortunately the LG refrigerator didn't have a bottom freezer pull drawer in the 33" width. I decided on the Maytag instead and I couldn't be happier. Lots of room in both the fridge and freezer compartments. The inside front door has lots of space as well. I highly recommend this appliance."

"We are really enjoying our Maytag bottom freezer drawer fridge. The capacity and stainless steel front are great. It runs quietly.
One drawback are the freezer drawer baskets. They are of a wired mesh variety rather than one with solid sides. Any leaks or spills in the freezer section make clean ups messier."

"This refrigerator I selected after returning an LG model. I find that it's nice and quiet and the stainless looks great. I wish the interior door storage was laid out a little differently - I would've preferred more longer shelves (since it's a wide door) and also, wish they had more depth and a specific place for eggs. The good news is practically everything about the interior is adjustable. Overall, I'm very pleased with this unit and thrilled with the service received from the Home Depot in Copiague, NY."

"This is a wonderful refrigerator. I have health problems and the bottom freezer is just what I need(recomended by a Homedepot associate who knows my problems.)
All of the things I use are at eye level. It has a 6 inch lip when the door is open so I can set things down to get things from the back. Nice spacious crisper drawers that are clear so items are visable. No drip lip on shelves to prevent spills and drips. large door shelf and removable pods for easy cleaning. I love it. I have already recomended it to several friends."

"This is the best refrigerator that I could have ever purchased. With the freezer at the bottom, there is no more bending down to get something out of the refrigerator. I can open the door and reach for what I want. All of the shelves are removable and I can set up the inside however I want. The ice maker is great also. This is fabulous!"

"It keeps everything so cold and fresh at a relatively low setting. Plenty of room for anything we need to refrigerate or keep frozen. I love that I can see everything in the fridge to find things so easily. The wheels on the bottom make it easy to move and a quick wipe of the handle and door and the stainless is shiny and clean again. It is extremely quiet with a great seal on the doors."

"I recently bought this refrigerator online and when I got to the delivery section, I was having trouble viewing on the options on the computer so an assistant came online to assist me and when they realized there was a problem with the system, they immediately referred me to a phone specialist that completed my order efficiently. I love the new refrigerator, they said it would take 24 hours for the first ice cubes and they were working within 3 hours. I also had to call maytag with a question and they were helpful also. It was much cheaper to buy this product online through home depot than the store and it was delivered the same week, it could of been as quickly as 2 days but that didn't fit with my schedule. The whole purchase was fantastic!!!! There is so much room in this refrigerator, and I really love the freezer being on the bottom."

"We love the freezer on the bottom feature! We have heard some noises but upon investigation found out they are common and nothing to be concerned about.Shelves are easy to position and easy to clean. Stainless does show finger prints but unlike black it does not show every speck of dust. I'll take the stainless any day!"

"My fiance and I purchased this fridge as a first step in our kitchen make-over and we absolutely love it. Of course, the stainless is nice (although it does pick up fingerprints so it may not be the best for kids). The unit is well built, evidenced by the smooth-sliding freezer drawer (I looked at several models where the door slides felt cheap). It holds an amazing amount of food (more than enough for the two of us), which is nice because we were able to get rid of our old fridge instead of keeping it in the garage or something. Overall we are very satisfied and would recommend this fridge to anyone."
