This concrete mixer is great for small project jobs. I used this to poor a decorative patio and a retaining wall. The wheel barrel like frame provides excellent maneuverability and placement allowing you to take the concrete to the project with out worring about it setting up before you are ready. The best design for a DIY.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I rented a 600W and liked it enough that I decided to buy one. Nice size capacity for typical work, and easy to move around. I needed to pour slabs in a basement and it easily went through the door. Rolled it right up to where I needed to pour and the capacity made short work of it.
Only thing I don't like is it tends to splash its contents all over the place until you get the mix thick. I ended up throwing a 4x4 under the front to raise it up a little during the initial mixing, but if you're in an area where the splashing isn't a problem it's not needed. It can toss a good deal of water out though if you're not quick to get the mixture thickened.
Only other gotcha I found is that if you aren't careful with your mixture thickness you can stall it out. Ask me how I know :)
Overall a very nice high capacity mixer that's durable, easy to clean and should last a long time with proper maintenance and operation.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I have mixed about 100 bags of sacrete mix with this mixer and have encountered no problems of any kind. It does however need to be cleaned out very well after the job is done in order to prevent buildup. A couple other small problems that I have been able to overcome with is the heighth of the drum. You cannot dump into a wheel barrow. I simply bought a low heighth wagon and mounted a plastic mortar pan on it, then you can just pull it where you want. Another thing is it seems to mix better when the the back of the mixer is raised about four inches. This realy works well when mixing mortar mix. A different blade design would help alot in this area. I have been a bricklayer for over thirty years and have gone through serveral gasoline powered mixers. With this little mixer you dont have to tow it, simply pick it up and put it in the back of the truck. Great for small jobs and a whole lot quieter. All in all I'm satisfied. RKB Illinois
