"I bought this microwave 2 yrs ago , only used to heat things up did not cook in it , just started sparking in side and stoped working , will not buy sharp again."

"I had a Panasonic microwave for 22 years and it finally bit the dust. Naturally, I was partial to that brand. However, after reading several bad reviews about a new element in all Panasonics, i decided to change brands. I have had my Sharp for 6 weeks. I am thrilled with it! It is so simple to use. It does all the thinking for you and at my age (76) that is a B-I-G bonus. I would recommend this microwave to anyone!"

"Bought this for my eighty year old mother to replace a GE that died too early. She loves it. I researched it on line and found good reviews. The learning curve was easy for her because on the back of the manual it has a chart that explains how to use all the functions in a short easy manner."

"I purchased this microwave in Dec. 2006 and it seemed to work well for a while. I live alone and do not use it for anything but heating water and popping popcorn and bake potatoes.It has started to spark and short out. I cannot recommend this, 2 years is not a long life for a microwave??"

"We were looking for the largest microwave that would fit in our cabinet and provide the power and functions of a larger built-in. The Sharp microwave fit the bill to a tee,lots of power,many functions, and quiet. I would reccommend this model to anyone and everyone."

"After 7 years with my old microwave that was a gift, this one is great! I love the sensors the most. Its also very spacious. The only downside is that I wish it came in a darker color such as black or heather grey. Its definitely a steal and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new microwave."

"I received the micorwave oven about Oct 12, 2006. Our previous oven quit working after about 22 years. So far I am very satisfied with this oven it does everything we asked to do. At first the controls were a little confusing as compared to the older oven. It did not take very long to become use to the new controls and the Users Manual, to this point, is very clear in it's instructions. We have not tried some of the advanced features yet so I will withold comment on them at this time.
As with most electronic equipment today, the manufactures pack them with features that no everyone wants or needs. I find a few of the features redundent. Such as timer controls and specific items (popcorn) controls. I will most likely use the timer control the majority of the time.
The higher wattage takes a little getting use to and for most things cooked in a microwave the recommended cooking time seems to be based on an oven rated at 1000 watts.
Other than that both my wife and myself like and enjoy it very much."

"I was looking for a good microwave and received a great microwave!! The smart sensors are great and help to take the worry out of cooking. This is by far the best microwave that I've had. It is easy to use and does a great job."
