This product fit the bill perfectly. It is attractive, provides plenty of light, and most importantly...it is QUIET. My previous fan sounded like a rocket launching, this one is barely noticeable, just a pleasant, quiet, whisper. I was worried about the install, but, other than having to climb around in my attic, it was relatively simple for a guy with very basic handyman skills. I am very pleased with this purchase.

We purchased this fan expecting quiet operation and an increase in removing humid air during our morning showers. WE GOT IT! We had the fan professionally istalled with all of the proper ducting to protect attic insulation. The installer was impressed by the fan as well. We LOVE THIS FAN! Our biggest complaint is that now our shower is too loud (that was a joke.)

This is a wonderful bathroom fan. Very, very quiet if you run 6 inch vent pipe all the way. It should get 6 stars except...........
No where does it tell you that this fan should be for new construction. It is designed to be installed before the sheetrock ceiling is installed. Most replacement fans can go straight up from the bottom through the same or a new hole cut in the ceiling. Not this one. it has flanges sticking out where no replacement fan ever does. It takes a few odd ball cuts in the sheetrock to actually get this fan in place and lots and lots of running up and down between the bathroom and the attic to install it. You can install it as a replacement fan. Just allow a few extra hours.

Great fan, significantly better in operation, efficiency and quality than previous model. Very, very quiet. Replaced an existing fan that raises two concerns: 1. This is a not necessarily a direct replacement. Needed to make the ceiling hole bigger (dimensions not on box, buried in instructions) and 2. Duct size is 6", double the size of the vent replaced (again, not on packaging). Outside termination fixture size should be considered. Room volume and house air tightness should also be taken into account. Situational outside air makeup for all exhaust fans in new construction (i.e., tight houses) is not a bad idea and not as counter intuitive as one may think.
