I purchased this book for my new son-in-law. My daughter and son-in-law recently purchased a home and need to make repairs. They have little to no experience and said that this was VERY helpful as they had to replace thier kitchen faucet this week.
My son-in-law stated that he found this book easy to understand and the illistrations helpful.

this book was helpful in many ways it lacks a lot of info on pipe diameter & because local codes vary some of the info was very incomplete for example what pipe size to use for a washing machine drain in my town there is no permit required for plumbing so anybody can do their own work that's not always a good thing when you buy an old house with a lot of "why in the world would they do that" plumbing fixes if that is what your up against like me you will need a more complete book but if you are the lucky one that has a newer house with newer to code plumbing this is a good book
