this book is very complete it has so much great info about electrical services & even some NEC codes to help you through some very tough problems i am rewiring a 100 year old house this book is the reason i am able to do it it is that complete you wont find all the answers to your questions in here but it will help you ask the right questions to the people that do know like the Master electrician at home depot those guys are pros they are very skilled with many many years in the field with this book & them you can rewire or fix almost any electrical project with no fear of becoming sparky the i shocked myselfer

This is a great book for anyone who wants to do a simple electrical job like fix an outlet, etc. Although it does have more advanced chapters, I wouldn't recommend trying them if you're just a beginner, but it certainly makes it very easy to do!

I understood the basic electrical tasks such as changing an outlet or a switch, but I didn't have a strong grasp of the concepts behind electricity.
This book takes the reader from the power station to the outlet with everything in between. The knowledge I gained expanded the scope of the electrical tasks I am confident I can perform, while defining my limitations for when to call in a pro.

Look no futher if you need info to do wiring to your home. This book gives you everything you need to know to get the job done right. I f you buy one book on house wiring you can not go wrong on this one.

very complicated and the book is hard to follow. it is giving directions with incomplete information and it is instructing me that as if, i am a professional and highly knowledgeable. for me, it is just not easy to follow but it may be for you.
