"We have had our LG washer a month now and I still get amazed at how clean our cloths come out. The washes might take a little longer, but the amount of water and energy we have save is amazing. It takes the guess work out of doing laundry and you don't even realize that washer is on because its so quite. I will recommend this washer to anyone and everyone!"

Foul Smell,

"We have had this washer for 6 months and about 3-4 months after we got it, we started smelling a foul odor in our laundry room. We found out that the washing machine would not drain completly and the water began to stagnate and smell. We also noticed that our clothes and towels started to smell like mildew as well. We could run some strong bleach through the washer and it would help for a while, but would not cure it completely. For the money I would not recommend this washer."

"I own the LG washer and dryer and I can tell you they are worth every penny of the cost. I know the first thing that people say they are too exensive. I am 53 years old and I have never had a washer and dryer that the load in the dryer dries before the washer stops. My husband wears a size 42 jeans and I wash 5-6 pair at a time and they still are dry before the washer stops. Laundry time is cut in half, honestly! And the steam cycle!!!! Oh my! it is fantastic!!! I put a pair of pants that I have been taking to the cleaners (dry clean only) for at least 5 years, in the steam cycle and they came out looking as good if not better than the cleaners. I would recommend any body to do with out their diet cokes and drink water if that is what it would take to own a set of these. I even convenced my sister-in-law to buy and she loves them."

"I was enthusiatic about an energy efficient washer with Steaming features per LG's TV ad. I couldn't resist. Drying cleaning too often is damaging to our clothes and costly! Although LG does not recommend cleaning any "dry clean only" clothes, I made a choice and did. Both the silk pants and blouses turned out beautifully. How many times do we want to freshen up our wrinkled outfit and only in 20 minutes! And men LG's steamwasher works on your shirts as well. Think of how many more hot clothes you can wear and wear all the time. Remember you get what you pay for and the returns will be well worth it.
Don't forget to purchase the $89. warranty. Best Deal in town!"

Big...better have some room, this baby is not small. Measure twice, buy once.

"All I can say is this is the best machine we have ever owned. We have had it for a week now and the first thing my wife did was grab all the sheets and comforter off our king size bed. She washed them all in one load!!!

"My husband bought me this set for my b'day and what a wonderful present. It was a total surprise! I almost stroked out about him spending that kind of $$ without discussing it with me first, but it was worth every penny. He got me the red. Our clothes are soooo much cleaner now I was shocked!! I had been blaming it on my water all this time and I guess it was my washer. Who knew? I highly recommend this set for anyone family of 2 or family of 10. Home Depot is awesome. Bottom line is that this is a wonderful investment."

Get over the price, you can pay less but you won't get the Fantastic Results - Superb Energy Efficiency, almost no water use, and clean cloths that are just fun to wash. I've even gone hunting for dirty clothes in my adult kid’s rooms just to use it once again. The results are great and the Steam-Fresh feature makes short work of wrinkles in dress work shirts and other similar items. When we first looked at this washer and driver, I almost fainted at the price, but after speaking to someone else who owned one, and after reading reviews, I was convinced this was the washer for us. When you look at how long it will last, the quality of clean clothes you get, the price per load is relatively low. Plus with the Energy-Star rating you get a tax break and that worth something! This is by far, hands down, absolutely the best washer we have ever owned and I would not hesitate to recommend it to you, to family, or even my mother or grandmother! "My husband and I recently bought this washer and dryer and were sceptical because of the price and the few reviews that said it had a vibration problem. Well we got over the sticker shock and went ahead and bought them. The vibration problem doesn't exist if you level them correctly. My set is right next to our kitchen and we can not even hear them running. The washer has less vibration than our old top loader. The washer does seem to take longer but the dryer takes less time. Before I had to wait on my dryer to finish before I could continue to do more loads. Now the dryer is finished well before the washer because most of the water is spun out of the clothes. So all in all, I do not think they take any longer. The Steam Fresh cycle is awesome. I don't think I will be taking any clothes to the dry cleaner any more. I was even able to put my king size comforter in the washer and steamed it clean. Awesome!! I think this pair is well worth the money and did I say how beautiful they were? I can't believe I just used the word "beautiful" to describe a washer! This was also my first experience with Home Depot and it was great. The salesperson really knew about the features. So go ahead and get them. You deserve them!"

"This was the biggest waste of time and money I have ever spent. Who in the world ever thought that someone has 1 full hour just to wash one load of laundry is out of their mind!!! I would never get it all done. Not only that but it makes alot of noise for nothing. It spends most of it time sitting there and never even fills with water to wash. It just trinkles then tumbles. No wonder it is a water saver, IT DOES'NT USE ENOUGH FOR A FLYS BATH. Way over priced piece of garbage!!!!!!"

"Wow! WOW! WOW!!! This washer is just fantastic. Despite the initial sticker shock, this is one heck of a washer that just does everything but go buy your clothes. I was skeptical at first and did not want to spend the big bucks, but after hearing a neighbor rave about the quality, then another customer in the store comment about how happy they were with their machine, I took the plunge. Besides the great on-time no-cost delivery (special offer rebate), and taking 10% off for opening a new account at Home Depot (up to a total of $2K which was a slight surprise – thus $200 max off), I did take the plunge and bought both the washer and dryer. We’ve had them a week now after delivery. If it was not for the amusement of watching my grown children sit in front of the washer and dryer like a drive-in movie, just watching clothes get cleaned (get a real life kids), I’d be totally amazed about how fresh and clean my clothes are. I used the steam wash for some older, stained kitchen towels and they came out absolutely clean, no spots, no stains, no nothing but absolutely clean. The steam freshening and wrinkle removal with shirts is another amazing and powerful tool in the laundry arsenal. This machine is just super…it rocks and I can not recommend it highly enough! Get over the price, it is well worth the money and the time investment to bring this washer and companion dryer into your home. I can not recommend it highly enough!!!! And I am not a do the laundry nut – it is a pain that I do because I have to, not want to….but this combo makes me want to go to the laundry room and get it done. You can not go wrong with this LG washer. You can pay less for others, but you will not get the quality and superb results that this LG washer will provide...and the color is just perfect for my N.C. State Wolfpack spouse - Wolfpack red!"

"I just received my Wild Cherry LG Washer and Dryer. I SIMPLY LOVE THEM!!! Once I got over the Shock of the Price and Learned about all of the Savings (saving on Water, Electric and Best of All Tax Right Off), I was SOLD!!!! I have a very small Laundry room and this set by LG was one of the only sets that would fit in our laundry area. The Wild Cherry Looks Great in our Laundry room, and it's a wonderful conversation piece. ( Now All of My Neighbors want one !!!)"

"This is one amazing machine! I am really excited to have made this purchase. I have had this in my home for approximately 1 month and have washed everything in my home! Drapes, comforters, bedding, linens, clothing, from delicates to shop rags. This machine is so efficient using a minimal amount of water. The dry cleaning costs for my comforter are $70.00 x 2 comforters = 10 washes each and it will pay for the machine. This does not begin to figure the savings with the steam feature. The steam feature should save me a bundle on dry cleaning too. I love the ability to do really large loads. The loads do take longer to process but the size of the load more than compensates for this. I also purchased the dryer and the drawers under both. I am really very happy with the set. Home Depot was also great. They delivered as promised within a two-hour window, set everything up and took our old appliances away. I am very please with the whole transaction."

It looks as though there wasnt enough water filling to wash the clothes. The salesperson told me I would feel like that , so I expected it . I was still somewhat skeptical so I examined the clothes carefully after . WOW ! They looked like I had washed them with my hands.
When you first turn it on , dont be surprized or concerned about the pausing , its measuring the lbs. so it can determine how long of a wash cycle you need to efficiently clean the contents.
I've had my set for 2 months now and find it a pleasure to do laundry . Isn't that crazy ?
I am so pleased with my whole buying experience that I've told everyone I know about them .
Talk about customer consideration . The salesperson saw me 3 times when making my decision.
When comparing products at other stores, I found Home Depot to be the best offer . AND ... The personal attention was A-1."

"I love this washer! I was a little worried about all of the settings, but after you start to play with it, the washer is so user friendly, it's easy! "This is by far the best washing machine I have ever owned! The load capacity is tremendous. A full size comforter is no problem. This washer senses how large the load is and adjusts the water level accordingly. Paired with our new softwater treatment system, our clothes are cleaner, brighter and feel better then ever. I would strongly recommend this washing machine. Well worth the money! Note for placement: this is deeper than most machines and the door only opens on the right side. The choices for clothing type, water temperature and spin intensity truely customize your loads. You will never want another washing machine again!"

"We bought this washer because our old one was about 20 years old. The first day we got it I started searching all over the house to do laundry. It is super quiet and spins the clothes so fast that it doesn't take long for them to dry. The wash cycles are a little longer than the top loaders BUT it gets the clothes much cleaner. I have NO complaints. I am soo glad we bought this washer. Now our laundry gets done in less loads!"

"I was very nervous about the price, and I spent hours on the internet reading both professional as well as purchaser write-ups. My main areas of concern were:
- SteamFresh cycle didn't really do what it said
- Problems with the dryer not rolling properly
- They sound like jet engines when they spin, and shake the whole house

My #1 interest in buying these was for the Steam Fresh feature, so I was really concerned about making the investment if it wasn't going to work. I am a professional, and I have a TON of clothing requiring drycleaning, not to mention I love dresses and all kinds of other items requiring specialty cleaning which I have tried to clean using Dryel bags and what not, but never to a truly satisfactory result.
Well, we decided to go for it, and all I can say is it is the best money I have ever spent!
1) The SteamFresh cycle is AWESOME! I can throw my suit, dress pants, dresses, etc. in it. Takes 20 minutes, they come out very slightly damp, but overall pretty crisp and smell CLEAN. I throw them in the dryer for 5-10 minutes then take them out and put them straight on hangers. In many cases (my suits) I don't even have to iron them. Love it, love it, love it.
2) The dryer dries things SUPER FAST. I will put in a huge load of towels, and it will start out saying estimated time 50 minutes. 20 minutes later they are completely dry. AWESOME. And, I have had no problems with it rolling weird or anything like that.
3) The washing machine is very quiet and there is no shaking. You do have to take the time to level it properly, which wasn't difficult. It gets the clothes really clean and spins so fast! Plus, I love all the ways you can customize your wash cycles for those specialty items.
All this, and they are just plain beautiful to look at!
GO BUY THEM NOW."
