This dryer is the best! It is soooo smart! I think I have been more excited about it han the new house we built that we put it in! It always knows when the load is dry and I never open the dryer to overly dry or still damp items. The wrinkle cycle is great for busy Moms who can't get to the load immediately as it finishes. Love it!

More time efficient than standard machines. Very easy to use. Now the dryer stays ahead of the wash machine. Drys clothes in less time. I would highly recommend this product.

I love the all the towels, sheets that I can get into this dryer. I also like to be able to set the dryness. I really think we are saving on the electric bill. My kids love the beep

We have only had the dryer for just over a week now. It dries very well however this may also be a function of how well the matching washer spins the load. The laundry comes out almost dry. I would recomend you get the matching washer also.

We bought the washer and dryer set. Yes it is expensive, but get over it. Besides the fantastic washer results, the dryer just completes the WOW factor. Not only does it work well, the clothes have never been drier faster, and fluffier, smelling great, but you get a tax break because of the Energy-Star rating....and after looking at the quality and how long this will last, your price per load is almost nothing. When delivered to the house, the neighbors all came out to marvel. Not only did we have the sexiest washer and dryer in the neighborhood, it was almost like we brought home a new sports car or big new Mercedes....the neighbors were all drooling. On top of that, after hearing about the results, the neighbors just happened to bring some wash over to try them out. They were so impressed they went to look at buying one for themselves. You can't go wrong with this washer and dryer set. It makes our old set pale in comparison to how well these work. I'd recommend it to my mother or grandmother, and that says something!

This LG dryer is an absolutely perfect companion product to the bright cherry red LG Steam Washer I purchased from Home Depot. This set is absolutely the best purchase I've made in as many years as I've been on this great earth. While being primarily a "car guy" and “tool guy”, not caring much about the home infrastructure items, like a washer, dryer, fridge, etc., etc. - my spouse mentioned she really liked the cherry red color (reminding her of her college - N.C. State Wolfpack red) which gave me a hint I needed to go take a look. While glad that I did, and having done lots of research in Consumer reports, etc., I found nothing but positive recommendations. What sold me, however, was the wonderful features, like the Steam-Wash on the companion LG washer and controlled dry and other high end features on the dryer. We have had the LG washer and dryer units installed in the house for a full week and besides my grown children (30, 28, 25) sitting and watching the units like a drive-in movie, the performance is unsurpassed, no stains on previously stained kitchen towels, absolutely fresh smelling clothes, towels and other items coming out of the dryer, and the wrinkle free setting that continues to occasionally spin your clothes to prevent wrinkles if you do not get to the dryer to remove the clothes immediately. I am absolutely sold that this is one of the best investments I have made in “infrastructure items for the home. Wow, WOW, WOW!!!! This is a great investment. Don't let the price scare you, take the plunge, consider the years of service you will get and with the high quality performance, the price becomes meaningless for the quality and performance. I can not recommend this dryer, and LG steam washer combo highly enough!!!! From a business perspective, the return on investment is very high....don't believe me, look at the other reviews, then go see a demo and make up your own mind, but I know I'll be saying "I told you so!" I can not recommend this LG washer and dryer combo highly enough! As NIKE says, just do it!

This dryer is the best dryer i have ever used. it dries in 1/3 the time my other dryer did and it was a two years old extra large capacity. The large capacity drum is the reason i believe this one takes less time and consequently less electricity, (1/2 hoour vs 1 and 1/2 hours). The machines in this series are so incredible looking i have never had a visitor that came through back door that did not mention WOW nice machines. The timing devices and number of cycles suit every possible need . It is exteremely quiet and when finished has a pleasant tingling sound NO buzzer. sound is also adjustable to different volume control. I 'lll be doing laundry for the rest of my life and for the next ten years i didn't want to be saying Man i could of had red, so i bought the red! I am happy that i did!

Great dryer! I love the anti bacterial cycle! I just pulled 6 throw cushions from my sofa out of the dryer. They smell fresh, clean and are dry in one cycle! Dryers are usually dryers to me, they dry clothes and I have never been excited. This dryer is different. The cycles really do make a difference.
We are so impressed that we could fit our king sized
comforter in the drum and it actually did a great job of drying it. Doing larger loads is a great time saver! I am able to get my bedding done is a fraction of the time.
The cycles do take longer but the load size more than compensates!
Home Depot did a great job! They delivered as promised within a 2 hour time frame and did all the set up!

I love this dryer! The choices to customize your drying is unsurpassed. Choose the fabric material and the dryer senses how large the load is and how long to dry the load. The Freshen-up option is great when you forget to remove the clothes right away. It took a small adjustment period to learn the drying times for different fabrics, but now its as easy as 1,2,3. The drying rack is awesome. I have used it for tennis shoes, sweaters, and delicate hand washed clothes (that the LG SteamWasher does for me now!). Best part is my utility bill dd not go up as you might imagine with these big appliances. The timer beep is great too. I can hear it anywhere in the house or turn it off completely. I strongly recommend this dryer. It is well worth the money!

We purchased this dryer with the matching washer. I found myself looking for laundry to do when we first got it. The dryer gets clothes dry quickly without over drying. You can add time or take away time according to your preference. What used to take over an hour to dry now dries in about 30 -45 minutes. The color is awesome. Overall, I just love this dryer!

Read the reviews and took a leap of faith and ordered from HD online. Machines arrived as scheduled - installers were great. Have used machine over the past 2 weeks.
Machine itself works VERY well -- we have this machine installed on the second floor in a closet (where the previous washer/dryer was installed). Dryer always on sensor mode and we let it decide how time it needs.
The washing machine (matching LG) spins out most (if not all) water. Both swallow our king-size sheets/blankets easily!
Very satisifed -- would definitely purchase again.

My husband & I got this set this week & we were scared to death because of the price...but so far we LOVE it!
Myself, my husband, & our 2 children can pile up laundry like you would not believe. Our old Hotpoint set just could not keep up. They had to go!
We have never had so much fun & satisfaction from doing laundry before. So far I can say it was money well spent. These babies seem like they are going to be around a LONG time!
I am pleased that we didn't decide to go with a "cheaper" model. You get what you pay for in this case. I love the red color, they seem very well built, so quiet (unlike our sets in the past)
We got the pedestals which are a must in my opinion. I love the features, the sanitize cycle is a wonderful thing to have, The options are a big, BIG plus. I love how fresh everything smells, how soft everything ends up, the energy it's going to save us, etc. It's a beautiful thing!
Go ahead & freak about the price, get it out of your system & buy the set! You'll be glad you did!

Dries great, like all the options and LOVE the preset functions. It's worry-free! Just push the buttons and go! Also, the color is fantastic. The only negative, my timer beeper isn't working. I have to call for service on that. Other than that, ULTRA FAB!

I just installed both the washer and dryer into my new apartment and i cant tell if I like it more due to the efficency or just the really sleek retro feel. The colors compliment all decor and they are trully a show stopper. It is also great because I can do practically 2 weeks of laundry in one load. I would recommend this to everyone
