THIS WAS A REPLACEMENT FOR A BROKEN WAFFLE MAKER. IT MAKES GREAT WAFFLES BUT WISHED IT WOULD MAKE THEM THICKER. OVERALL IT'S GREAT.

I had looked and looked for a proper waffle maker for my daughter for Christmas. I couldn't believe how small other brands were or the poor quality of one of the big name brands. So I went online and fortunately ended up on The Home Depot website. That's how I found the International Wafflepro Waffle Maker. Since it was a gift, I wasn't sure of the exact size the waffle would be but the outside dimensions came in at about 9-1/2". The day after Christmas I called my daughter to see if she'd used it. Her reply, "I did and it was awesome!!"

My teenage daughter finally convinced me to purchase a waffle maker. After researching the waffle makers available through Home Depot, we selected the International Waffle Pro Taste/Texture Select. It was an excellent choice!
The Waffle Pro allows you to select the type of waffle you want ("crisp outside, moist inside" or "uniform texture") and how brown you want it. Simply plug the device in and set your preferences. The Waffle Pro will pre-heat and signal when it is ready to use. It also alerts you when your waffle is ready. We have tried several different waffle recipes and a multitude of settings with perfect results each time.
The waffle plates don't allow the waffle batter to stick and the cooked waffles are easy to remove. The plates have remained clean for us. The controls are set above and to the side of the actual waffle iron, so the chances of gunking them up with batter are slim. Spills can easily be wiped up off of the appliance.
The appliance has a heavy, substantial feel, but it is compact enough to be easily stored. It comes with a booklet that includes some basic waffle recipes and tips on how to make the best waffles.
We highly recommend this appliance. My daughter likes it so much she has taken it to her friend's house to make waffles for their family!

This is just what I hoped for in a waffle maker. Good price, easy to use, and extremely easy to clean.

This waffle iron was a wonderful deal and makes the perfect waffle! The outside does not get too hot and is perfect for the "just right" sized waffle!!! I highly recommend it!
