Quiet and Efficient,

"This dryer dries most loads in 35 minutes and I am a mother of 3 who washes a lot of clothing! It is very quiet and efficient. I really like the 3 options for the cycle end signal too - off, quiet, and loud.
I would definitely purchase this dryer again."

Love my Maytag Dryer,

"We bought this dryer along with it's washing machine mate, to upgrade our appliances. I am very happy with the speed with which it dries all types of loads. The towels (that come out of the washer practically dry from the high spin selection) dry within such a short period of time that I can get twice the amount of laundry done.
Since we've gotten this pair, I have no laundry piled up waiting for the dryer. Also, nothing is over dried either. I have put several loads through in one day, at different settings and all have dried thoroughly and are smelling fresh when removed. Also, the special care feature (periodic tumble) is nice for permanent press items that are left in after the load is done.
The dryer vent we chose was to come out the side so we had to modify the exhaust system. I would have liked to have had the kit available at the time we purchased the dryer, but I had to order the part through another retailer, so that was a bit of a time waster.
Other than the waiting, the modification was made with ease and the installation went smoothly.
One other issue I have is the way the door closes. The washing machine closes so nicely (snug like a car door) but the dryer mechanism is just two clips, one on top and the other on the bottom. If you don't press it closed firmly, sometimes the one on top doesn't catch all the way. I noticed this on the floor model at two stores as well, so it seems to be inherent in the model. Even when I switched the swig on the door ( and yes I did it properly and all screws are snug) I still notice the problem.
Honestly, this is a small annoyance and does not color my overall opinion of the units performance at all.

Maytag Gets an A+!,

"The Maytag product line continues to outpace all its competitiors with the Epic Washer and Dryer. The quality is apparent in these models as Maytag has done an excellent job at making this pair both efficient and effective. Also, sound is virtually non-existent as the new chassis design eliminates annoying rocking and spinning noises. For the money, their is no better laundry pair."
