Very nice product, crummy directions

This greenhouse is attractive and functional. The only negative comment I have about it is that the assembly instructions were really hard to follow. Please improve the set up directions. It says to leave three hours to assemble. I would leave three days... That being said, it actually is a terrific greenhouse. We have received many compliments on it.

Poor Quality Control on Components

No, I do not recommend this product.
The components were delivered in two seperate large boxes via FedEx. After reading the warnings of other purchasers I immediately opened the boxes to make sure all of the parts were accounted for to complete the greenhouse. I was missing two parts and the next day called the service center and they sent them to me without any question or hassle. They were delivered in a timely manner. I scheduled a Saturday to complete the project with my son. About two thirds of the way through construction of the greenhouse we discovered that there were several defective parts. This caused us to have to stop to complete it another day. There were several aluminum pieces that were crimped in some of the sliding areas and a panel was not laminated right. There 3 pieces that were totally manufactured wrong. If I had not been as far along as I was when we discovered the problems, I would have packed it all up and returned it. Today I ordered the replacement pieces with no problems. I found the people to very pleasant and cooperative concerning the parts. I would guess that I am not the first one that has had so many problems. To date my son and I together have each spent 8 hours on this project. I would suspect that we will still have another 4 to 6 hours of work depending on whether or not we run into any more problems.

Incorrect parts and cheesey door hardware

No, I do not recommend this product.
This greenhouse has a key part that is incorrect. The main A-brace in the front over the doors is engineered incorrectly and will not work. It is a holiday so customer service has not yet answered the phone. Hopefully they will send the right part. Also, "assembles in hours" is technically correct, about 36 man hours to be exact. My main problem with the finished unit is the door design is really poor. The main structure could probably withstand 120+ winds but the doors will flop around in a light breeze. I think I am going to write a message in sharpie on the lexan to my neighbors a mile away, "if found after a hurricane please throw away..." lastly, use of silicone lubricant spray is a must on the aluminum framework during construction.

Construction of greenhouse

Construction of this greenhouse took two full days to complete. Both my wife & I are college grads and with both of us studying the instructions ahead of time, they were still very difficult.
Pictures very vague. Someone needs to take the time to make a how-to-do instructions list that is clear and precise.
Once the greenhouse was erected I was happy with the results, but it took forever to see those results.

We bought this greenhouse since my wife has just retired and wanted to start a new hobby with plants and vegetables. The size is perfect for a beginner and the finished product is just right for her needs.
Constructing the greenhouse, though, warrants some warning. We have no idea how it could be completed in 3 hours as suggested. It took my brother (the handyman) 3 days to put it together and the last day required 2 other people to help him move it onto the base and figure out the confusing directions. My son-in-law, the engineer, was one of those people. Several directions required a call to the Help Desk where the person was very helpful. In addition, I would encourage taking out and counting ALL the parts before beginning. We discovered 2 missing parts which could have delayed the project but the Help Desk person had them shipped via FedEx quickly.
All in all, this 8x10 foot size model would probably be the minimum size for someone. I can't imagine getting around in the 6x8 foot model. My wife is looking forward to getting started as soon as the flooring (pea gravel and large pavers) is installed and we buy the shelving for her plants and work bench to place in the greenhouse.
It is a beautiful little addition to our back yard.
