This is a great grill with few exceptions. We have prepared many meals on it in the last 3 months with few problems. The heat distribution takes some getting used to. It is hottest in the back and center of the grill area, which is OK as you can put the steak to be prepared well done there while others can be placed elsewhere. My biggest problem is that the burners get clogged which causes the burners to not work in the front at all, forcing even more heat to the rear of the grill. You should expect to clean the burners with a large paper clip and a wire brush at least every 60 days to keep it working to its fullest.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought this grill almost a month ago, and since then I've used it three times. I really like the features this grill has, I especially like the smoker tray. The only glitch is that the igniter for the rotisserie burner does not create a large/strong enough spark to light the rotisserie. I've tried adjusting the igniter rods, put in a fresh battery, yet it still doesn't ignite. No big deal though, I just use a match. Still I would recommend this grill for the serious outdoor cook. I'm glad I bought it.

I just bought this grill and was pleasantly surprised at all the amenities it comes with. I bought the CG 5-burner model last year and with recently offering it to a relative, I decided to take another look at what's out there now.
This grill got my attention as I love the all-stainless steel look. The addition of the back rotisserie burner and inclusion of the rotisserie kit really caught my eye. The cast iron grates AND the additional griddle insert(one side smooth, one side with ridges) was a nice upgrade along with the slide-in smoker box that is extremely handy. The front drawers are a nice addition in keeping the tools more organized than the prior model's underneath big open space. The propane fits down into a tray that slides in and out-VERY nice! Having the thermometer built into the top should be standard on every grill as it is included on this one.
One thing HD is doing very well with the Charmglow brand is provided lots of grill accessories for purchase that are actually on the heavy-duty side. WalMart sells similar items, but the sturdiness is compromised for a lower price point. Some things are worth a little extra $$$.
We fired it up today and put it to the test with 2 chickens being rotisseried along with veggies wrapped in foil cooking along the grate edges. There was ample room for all and for the drip pans that were configured to catch the drippings with the middle grate removed to accommodate the chicken turning and drip pans. Took about 1.5 hours to cook and it really cooked them well and gave the chicken a slighly crispy skin.
A couple of negatives as I presume at least 1/2 of the buyers haven't rotisseried before...The grill's instruction book comes with recipes, but NO CHICKEN ROTISSERIE directions or recipes. Try figuring out how to truss a chicken without instructions. Among the included recipes, there's one for a 12 pound turkey, but it's not rotisserie style. I was surprised that a grill fitted for this didn't have any instruction on how to cook that way other than the usual safety guidelines. Even the "suggested grilling times" for each type of food mysteriously leaves rotisserie info out.
Bottom line is, I've always wanted a rotisserie grill aside from the clumsy aftermarket kits that don't fit grills just right. With the inclusion of the rotisserie kit and rear burner along with the side burner, cast iron grates, organization storage, and ample side workspace, this grill is certainly a keeper!
Yes, I recommend this product.

I really researched before buying this, I read a lot of reviews, I physically went to Costco, Home Depot, Lowes and a local patio shop, This is the only one that was really solid and super duty, the stainless steel is the best on this than any other, all the ones I looked at were more tinny than stainless steel or too much like chrome and in a rinky dink way.
My only concern on this was the wheels, it does have what appears to be the smallest and not as stable than many others, However, they are fine and hold up a lot better than they look, I have wheeled this all the way around my house and many times in the patio and out, my surfaces are not smooth either, the wheels are fine, better than fine and show no sign of giving out. As for cooking, I couldn't be more satisfied, all the features are top notch, it's a very solid unit. You can spend a $100.00 less, but you will get what you pay for.
I don't believe I will need another BBQ, if I do, it will be a long while.
I want to use it for the summer before giving it a 5 star, if it proves to be that, for know it's a solid 4.
I wouldn't hesitate on this, if you have a budget that can go to $580.00, this will be the one, if your budget is less, consider stretching it. If you don't BBQ too often though, this might be overkill and a smaller one may suffice.
Yes, I recommend this product.

The unit looks nice but others can provide the same performance for less money. The original unit we received was not properly assembled and was missing parts (turns out they sold us the floor model). The unit was replaced with no issues there but both the original and the replacement have hotspots toward the back of the unit. The heat from the 5 burners is concentrated in the center and center-back. For this price you would expect more even distribution of heat. Cooking on the rotisserie takes FOREVER. For example, a 4# pork roast was on for 2 hours and was still on the medium rare side. A roasting hen is 1.5 hours. Sheesh!
But hey, the unit looks nice.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Got our grill, assembled, at Home Depot on Friday Night. Took it home, hooked up the gas, and grilled dinner within minutes of leaving the store.
Even heating, excellent flame control, smoking tray is a fab. accessory.
Rotis. can handle a 12 pound turkey!! Can't wait to try that out!!
Look forward to many a meal on our grill.
