Great dryer for the money!,

"I purchased this dryer (along with the matching washer) and I love it! It's large enough to accomodate king size sheets and the mattress pad at the same time. I love the Wrinkle Care feature which keeps the dryer running (heat free) at the end of the cycle. It will buzz about every minute or so for about 15 minutes to keep reminding you (which I need) to get the clothes out. But, I love that it keeps them tumbling so they never sit and wrinkle in the time it takes me to get to them. Plus, this is a feature that can be turned off which is nice, too. It comes with a drying rack and even has a feature that will let you get the clothes damp dry if necessary. I think it has enough features that make it a great dryer for the cost!"

"This dryer is great. I really enjoy the 7.0 satinless steel drum. No snags and pleanty of room to dry bedspreads and bulkey items. It runs quiet and the buzzer is not over powering. Very efficient. I would reccommend this dryer to anyone."

"My wife had tenaciously held onto a very sturdy clothes dryer that was approaching the age of 40 years. After years of replacing most every part , she finally agreed to purchasing a new one.
The GE Profile Dryer has caused her to wish she had relinquished much sooner. Easy to access... stainless steel drum...an insertable shelf... and a scad of great drying options. (The "Dewrinkle" option is awesome!)"

"I bought the washer first (love it) then the dryer. I believe they are way more efficient together. Im very impressed. It is quieter than my old one and the capacity is wginormous. My husband bought this model instead of the one with the minute counter, like our washer, which seems to be the only difference and I can live with that. I love the "signal" feature, the steel drum, wrinkle care...everything!"

"I've had my new dryer for approximately 2 weeks. While it's not exactly quiet but not loud either, but what I'd expect from a dryer. The different settings are awesome and clothes dry pretty quickly and efficiently. Yet, to have had an issue and I can't wait to purchase the matching washer."

"I have had this dryer for a little over a week now and love it. We upgraded from a 9 year old set to this. Has plenty of interior space and even comes with a removable rack to dry shoes, hats, etc. Plenty of settings to satisfy all your drying needs. I work outside and this thing handles my jeans like they are nothing! Great value! Very happy with product!"

"I am a Mother of 7 and Grandmother of 10, so I have owned several electric dryers in my lifetime. I can honestly say that I have never owned a dryer that I love using as much as my new GE Super Capacity dryer. I am a person who has always enjoyed doing laundry but never as much as with this new dryer. The lighted stainless steel drum makes it so easy to see all the clothes in the dryer and make sure I do not miss any socks or small pieces of laundry. I have always had to wait for my dryer to finish so that I could put in the next load, now I find myself waiting for the washer to finish so I can load the next dryer load because of the effeciency of the dryer. I recommend this dryer to any one who will listen. Thank you for your wonderful product."

"I love my new GE Profile Dryer. Big drum which holds large bulky items such as comforter. Quiet and has many options for drying. This dryer replaced my old GE dryer which I have had about 26 years and only had to have it serviced once. GE appliances are my preference!"

"We love this dryer. It is so roomy and everything gets dry the first time. We had to run our old dryer two or three times to dry heavy loads. This is great. And I love the stainless drum. Just in cse any of the kids "forgets" a pen in a pocket, cleanup will be easy."

"I purchased this dryer along with the matching washer and am so pleased . It is built very well and the 7.0 cu ft stainless steal drum is nice. My clothes dry very fast and come out with no wrinkles. There are many features on it that are great, like wrinkle care and the sensor which terminates the cycle when the clothes are dry. The reversible door is nice depending which side of the washer you have to put the dryer! Dont hesitate buying this dryer , you will be very pleased with all it has to offer. Very nice looking too!"

"My husband and I purchased the GE Profile 7.0 Cu. Ft. Super Capacity Electric Dryer (as well as the washer) and we absolutely love it! The 7.0 cu. ft. is large enough to wash the blankets for our california king size bed. It also enables you to choose what strength of heat. For example, you can use a hotter heat to dry a load full of towels or jeans quicker, as well as the delicate feature for your "unmentionables" :) One of my favorite funtions is the air fluff. We have a puppy who likes to shed a lot, I can toss in my throw rugs that are not "heat friendly" for a few minutes and they come out clean and fluffy! And anyone that has children, I'm sure has had to deal with chewing gum left in their pockets. I had melted gum all of the inside of the dryer drum. The stainless steel drum was extremely easy to wipe clean! No scrubbing and scrapping, !! We would highly recommend this porduct to anyone. It is a very durable, attractive product, for a very affordable price!"

"My wife and I have used this dryer, along with the matching washer (I left a review there also), for about 3 months. Both the washer and this dryer have completely met our expectations, and we're very pleased with our purchase. I'm a research freak, and spent a ton of time reading customer reviews, Consumer Reports, etc... b/c these are '07 models, there wasn't much feedback on them, but we felt comfortable trying them due to the GE Profile brand (our previous washer/dryer was Profile, and they lasted much longer than we expected). Long story short, we have no complaints whatsoever--both washer and dryer work great, and the prices were excellent (we got them with a $100 rebate AND 10% off sale). Perhaps the only thing we would have done different is bought a dryer that automatically shuts itself off when the clothes are dry--this dryer has a "moisture sensor" that beeps to tell you the clothes are dry, but it doesn't shut itself off automatically; if you don't hear the beeps, it keeps running and thus wastes electricity. If you're willing to pay a little extra, consider a dryer that has the automatic shut-off feature. Aside from that, though, we're very pleased and would recommend this dryer without reservation."

"This electric dryer really performs and has exceeded my expectations. It seems very sturdy and well made. It runs quietly, and is very gentle on even delicate clothing. HUGE capacity; I can dry my king size comforter in it with no problem. It looks nice in my laundry room - attractive design. I bought the matching washer too and have been delighted with both machines. Doing the laundry is (almost) fun now! GE makes a great product; I'll probably stick with them for future appliance purchases."
