Good coffee, bad carafe

I paid 3 times what I would normally pay for a coffe maker because I wanted the best coffee I could make, and Bunn has that reputation. I am happy with the coffee it brews but the carafe is junk. When pouring water into the machine or pouring coffee the liquid drips down the side of the pot and makes a mess. Holding the lid partially open and pouring extremely slowly helps the problem but does not eliminate it. And what a PITA!

I notice that the size of a 'cup' is significantly smaller than any other coffee maker I have owned. What used to take 2 cups to fill my travel mug and 5 cups to fill my thermos now takes 3 cups and 8 cups, respectively. No doubt this helps them reach their claim of 10 cops in 3 minutes.

Worth every dollar! Three minutes and it's ready to go! With a family that drinks coffee from sun up to sun down, it has paid for itself in the short time we've had it!

This is the second Bunn I have owned, and I realized with the first pot of coffee I made with it I had not had any good coffee since the last Bunn I had. The price was right, delivery was good and on time. I would reccommend the pot to anyone and the service from Home Depot was excellent, Thanks!!

This is our 3rd Bunn in 21 yrs. Mon-Fri it's used:1 pot to fill thermos, 1 pot to fill two travel mugs and a large coffee cup during morning routine, 1 pot for spouse. That's 3 full pots,not any problems! Fast,clean. Sat-Sun it's used: 2 pots each. Turn the warmer on for the slow paced weekends. Doesn't scorch coffee, no burnt taste. Extra benefits for those times just hot water needed for other types of drinks/soups. Easy to wipe clean. Space-saving design for counter. Reliable. Bunn filters easy to come by, don't use other brands as they are not tall enough. Don't buy cheaper machines you replace so frequently, invest in this one and you'll have no regrets. You want long-lasting, you want no problems, you can't go without your coffee, you want the Bunn. Get this!

After having to purchase a new coffemaker once a year forever, I finally broke down and purchased a Bunn. The flavor of the coffee is superb. It's extremely easy to use, commercial grade quality, long lasting and yet stylish enough to fit in any kitchen. This coffeemaker is definately worth the slightly higher price. Lasts for years vs. months. I highly recommend you purchase a Bunn the first time.

The Bunn 10 cup coffee maker NHBX-B is a definite must for any modern kitchen. With it's sleek contemporary design and good looks, this model takes less space than conventional designs, yet gives superior performance than many leading brands. Still using the proven easy-use filter holder and water distribution system, this Bunn produces a quality cup of coffee time after time. A new design in the water fill reservoir makes it much easier for young and old alike, avoiding unwanted and unnecessary water spout surprises. Just slide the reservoir cap over the fill hole and quickly you have a delicious pot of coffee brewed unlike any other. This Bunn product rates high in my review, five stars! Couldn't ask for anything more in a coffee maker. Three minutes and you have 10 cups of perfect coffee. It's easy to clean and looks good on the counter. Also, it has a vacation switch so you can turn it off while you are away. This replaced an expensive Krups coffee maker and the only thing I miss is the timer.
