I got this for my daughter because she wanted to learn how to sew (she's 8). I had planned to get her a kid's machine, but after reading reviews thought this would be a better value. I'm glad now - it's great - the instructions are easy to follow and we made a pillow together the very first time we used it.

I needed a small portable machine to carry along to sew alongs, & for the price, this was the BEST! I love my machine! Has the zig zag stitches I needed, manual is where it is with me! I just finished a denim/flannel quilt, at times 5 layers of denim to sew through & no problem!
I grew up with Singers,both parents had worked for Singers. I have had several Singers down through the years. (gave to daughters)
Over all, for price & durability, satisfaction is guaranteed!Live in
