The Master Flow 7 in. x 25 ft. Insulated Flexible Duct R6 Silver Jacket is used in standard Heating & Air Conditioning systems and some venting applications. The duct has R6 insulation which contains 33% more insulation than the standard R4.2 product. This additional insulation provides greater thermal efficiency to save energy. The product is also covered in a heavy duty, silver jacket for durability. The duct is ETL listed, meeting the UL181 standard.

We had to replace the ducting in our finished basement as the previous owners/builder had not put insulation around the metal A/C ducts before finishing the basement, and the metal ducts were having a serious condensation problem causing spots of moisture and eventually mold on the ceiling. We cut out all the drywall in the affected areas on the ceiling and pulled out the full length of the metal ducting and replaced it with this product. It was a perfect fit and you can tell this is a quality product. The hardest part about this whole project was patching up the ceiling. =)
