Just installed in a non-ducted location and am not disappointed. The NS130SS feels and is constructed of quality materials for the price. Directions were well -written and the unit performs very nicely. I wanted a good hood with a centrifugal motor and was limited with choice for non-ducted. Happened to find one at a home depot near me in Atlanta. Without spending 500+ dollars for pro-level hood the blower level on low is great for most cooking, high level will move lots of air for you and I don't mind little extra noise. Only improvement I would make is to add indicator lights for the fan and light levels.

this range hood is great. works just the way i like it. it takes all the moist, odors, grease, out the kitchen. also the two lights are very bright, great while cooking. i would recommend this range hood. i am proud that i installed myself. it was a piece a cake!!.

Under Cabinet Range Hood Vent

The under cabinet range hood vent is similar to the one that I purchased several years ago. However, it is easier to keep clean and the filter can be washed and returned to the vent. It is not as quiet as I would have liked, but it works fine to eliminate odors and to keep the smoke detector from going off.
