I originally purchaced a Wagner Power Painter. The Power Painter, after 4 usages, quit spraying. The motor would run but the pump would not pressure up.After fighting with the unit all day I finally gave up. This was very frustrating and set my project back also wasting expensive paint.I took the Power Painter back to the Home Depot that I purchaced it at. They let me "Up Grade" and with the help of a Store Clerk I purchaced the XT250.With only one use I could tell the difference in quality verses the Power Painter. The XT250 did a very good job and is well built. The clean up is not to difficult,"the water hose hookup for flushing" is an excellect idea.I would recomend the XT250 to my friends.
Thanks
Doug

Excellent Finish and quick

This is the only airless sprayer I have used, but if you have ever used any spray equipment then the spraying techniques is basically the same. Just keep the gun moving or you will get runs.
I used this to paint 800 liner feet of trim before putting it up and to also paint 21 raised panel doors. I sprayed Behr latex paint and everything came out looking great.
Both times I used this it save it a lot of time. It only took 2 days to paint the trim and a day to paint the doors. You can paint quicker then you ever thought. I spend more time moving stuff around then painting.
The two downsides to spraying are prep (masking everything you don't want painted, I set my garage as a spray booth) and clean-up(takes an hour or two to clean the sprayer).
On more note, spraying does seem to use more paint, but that could be because some of the paint does not land on what you are painting.

BOUGHT THE 250 TO PAINT THE INSIDE OF MY HOUSE. FIRST, SHOT 30 GAL. BEAR PRIMER, THIN PINT AND HALF TO QUART SHOOTS BEST. SECOND, SHORT STROKES SO OVERLAP DON'T SHOW, WATCH THE WALL NOT THE GUN, LONG STROKES SHOW STRIPING BAD WITH SHORT STROKES OVERLAP IS RANDOM AND DOES NOT SHOW TO BAD. WATCH THE PAINT BUILD UP ON THE WALL, BE THE PAINT.(BAD ENGINEERING) FINGER TIGHT ONLY ON TIP GUARD OR IT WILL BRAKE . PRIME, SPRAY VALVE KNOB RIDES ON CAM PULLING IT IN AND OUT, KNOB HELD ON WITH SMALL CLIP WITCH PULLS LOSE. OTHER THAN THE FEW FLAWS ONCE YOU GET OVER THE LEARNING CURVE YOU CAN WALK THE DOG.

I like this product very much and it saved me loads of time. The only draw back was when I was either done for the day or changing colors. It took awhile to clean up and cleanout the old paint. Paints evenly and was easy to use.
