Ordered this as a solution to secure our 48" French doors. Home Depot got it delivered in a timely fashion and the install went smoothly. Folds nearly out of sight when not in use. Probably will not stop a determined intruder but will certainly slow them down or make them think twice.

I purchased this gate as a barrier for my large dog. She would knock down or jump over any other gates that I previously purchased and eventially learned how to open them. I would have rated this product a 5, but it didn't come with hardware or instructions. The gate itself is extremely durable and made with quality materials. When not in use, it has a latch to keep it open and then swings out of the way. It takes up very little space when not in use, less than 12", so it is not as unsightly as other baby/ pet gates. It is heavy so you will need 2 people to hang it. The suggestion I have to the manufacture is to include hanging instructions and hardware. I contacted Homedepot Customer Service and they requested a manual for me. So all you big dog lovers, this may be the answer you've been looking for.

We bought this gate to secure two old smaller french doors in our foyer that we didn't want to get rid of, but didn't feel quite secure enough with. We feel much better with this gate. It would take a lot for someone to try and get through it!

Great product! Good for residential security. Cheaper and faster to order online and pay shipping, having it delivered right to your door, than having it special ordered in-store. Have been looking for a used one - finding this new one was more economical, not to mention cleaner!
