This fan has lights that flicker and the fan stays in low speed while the lights flicker. I've had to return a faulty reciever twice already. Unless anyone has a solution to this problem, it's going back

We purchased this fan over three years ago and have had no problems, until our children have broken 2 of the light covers. We have looked everywhere to find replacements. If anyone has any info that would be great.

Beautiful fan.....elegant with traditional & contemporary touches. Great for a Formal office and/or Family Room. We bought one and enjoyed the beauty & quality so much we bought another. Quality is exceptional. The fan is heavy so there is a safety cable included. We installed in our formal office w/10' ceiling and in our family room with 20' ceiling. (of course, used a 6' pole extension). We finished the look with a ceiling medallion. Looks stunning from all angles. Remote included. We did not use the remote b/c no room in our ceiling to install plus with have 2-way switches. It's ok b/c we didn't buy for remote capabilities. The 4 lights are wonderful and the light bulbs are included. They even light up the room with 20' ceilings wonderfully. Best purchase ever and has a timeless look of elegance.

Both of the fans I bought vibrates and makes horrible noise.
Started after the 90 day return policy so can not return them.
Have tried balancing the blades. Blades on both fans are warped.
Next time I will stick with another brand.

After 3 months, every compact flourescent lightbulb went out. I turned it on and 2 were out, I turned it on again to replace the bulbs and 3 were out and then next time I turned it on, the fourth bulb went out. A week later, the 5 year bulbs are going out again. The remote is a bit flimsy and inconsistent. The buttons don't necessarily correspond to the function. I love the look of the fan but I expect a whole lot more out of a ceiling fan at this price.

After 2 years this fan would no longer go onto HIGH speed. It worked fine on medium and low, but when it came to high - nada. Took it down and exchanged it at Home Depot for another identical fan. The next one was DOA. The light kit worked, but the fan would not turn at all. The folks at Home Depot have been great to work with, but the fan is no good. In all my life, this is the first fan I've ever had a problem with.

We just purchased this lighted ceiling fan for our new home and love the look of it. The only drawback that we've found is that it cannot be flush mounted to the ceiling or at least we haven't figured out how. We have 8 foot ceilings and it hangs too low for people around 5'8" and taller. If we could flush mount it, it would be wonderful in every way. If anyone has ideas on how to flush mount it, please respond! Thanks.

Yes the dimmer works ONLY if you use common traditional A19 base light bulbs AND set dimmer & transmitter codes to "D" for dimming. It DOES come with a battery for remote, so don't accidentally throw the small 12V away! Shades can be replaced at: Ceiling Fans USA. Check shades for damage BEFORE you leave the store and re-tape box for drive home! Downward direction of lights makes for a great study area in a hot room. THANK YOU Hampton BAy.

I purchased this fan three years ago, and it is still my favorite. My husband installed it with no difficulty. I love the unique and contemporary glass shades. However, they are difficult to replace as you can't just get more at the home depot store or from Hampton Bay. I have had to order them twice. I bought a box of four shades just in case ( I have little boys) from Ceiling Fans USA as directed from Home depot costumer service. All in all I love this fan and am considering purchasing another one.

This is a great BIG beautiful fan. I love the classic style light kit on this fan. Great fan, very strong. We only had one problem with this fan. About three months after installing the fan the light kit stopped working, the fan would work, but not the lights. Apparently something shorted out in the reciever box for the remote. Our electrician took a look, pulled it out and saw the short. I took the old reciever and remote to home depot and they replaced it, no questions asked. Although we did have a little problem with the fan, It's a great item. When I saw it in the store I couldn't leave it there. We just bought our first home and I'm very frugal with the items I purchase, but this was a splurge I HAD to make and I love it!

This fan works very well and I am extremely happy with my purchase. The lighting brightens the whole room very well and the air movement is perfect. The energy consumption is better as compared to similar ceiling fans. Overall, I love this fan, and I have already recommended this fan to my friends and family.

We've only had the fan for a week now but the reviews are unanimous! Everyone loves it. Changed the entire look and feel of the living room. It caught our eye in the store two years ago and I'm not sure why we waited so long to purchase it. My only advice would be to let a professional install it. I installed five other fans in the house (with no problem) but knew I wanted a pro to handle this one. It weighs more than any fan I've ever dealt with. Trust me....you're gonna love it!

My husband and I purchased this fan for our bedroom and not only is it beautiful but we love it. I really like the remote control and the variuos speeds. It also has a control to adjust the lighting. We like it so much that we are going to purchase another one to go in our study. Excellent purchase....

This ceiling fan is gorgeous. I bought 3 of them just a little over a year ago. This month one of the fans went bad. These are a bear to hang and to take down. I have my fingers crossed that Home Depot will let us exchange the fan, even thought the year warranty is up (just barely). Whatever was wrong with the fan caused problems on the entire circuit causing another light to have a short. It was in the fan because when the builder came out and hooked the fan up directly, it wouldn't work, but the light it was causing a short in was fine when we took the fan down. I will send an update to say how this turned out - whether Home Depot let us exchange the fan or whether we had to buy a brand new one. I think one year on a fan is unacceptable.

We love this fan.. It works in our kitchen everyone looks at it and says they like the fan. We couldn't afford to do over the kitchen just yet so we replaced the fan it looks great..also has a dimmer that brighten up and down..Great fan have had it for 18 months so far...Love it Love it....

This ceiling fan is a master piece in any living room! My husband did have a difficult time assembling the fan because the directions were not clear. But because he has installed ceiling fans before he threw out the instructions and went with his gut instinct. This ceiling fan is truly a piece of art!

If you plan on using anything other than the downrod that comes with the fan, do your homework. I need a 48 inch downrod that is compatible with this unit and so far, it doesn't exist. You will need to custom cut a rod to fit the ends. Unbelievably annoying.
