We purchased this microwave in December 2009 from Home Depot and could not be happier. The microwave works great, settings are easily understood and food comes out cooked through. The automatic light setting is also a nice added feature as we don't leave the light on all day when we don't need it. Comes on at our set time and shuts off also at our set time. I would recommend this unit to everyone.

We just purchased this GE Microwave after our old model (a 12-year-old Kenmore) kicked the bucket. This model looks gorgeous in our kitchen and the first time I re-heated something (some eggplant parm) I could not believe how quick it was. What would normally take 2 minutes im my old Kenmore takes 30 SECONDS in this GE model!! Lot of great features, too. The only drawbacks were that switching brands (from Kenmore to GE) meant different templates for the backing that holds the micowave up above the stove, which meant more hole-drilling and even having to install some small blocks of wood behind the wall AND some of the more sophisticated features take a little while to learn. All in all this is an excellent model for the price (as someone who cooks from scratch and only uses the microwave for re-heating, popcorn, etc.) and I would highly recommend! Now we just have to upgrade the rest of our appliances to stainless! One more thing - Home Depot delivered at 7 a.m. and hauled our old model away - excellent service!!!

Not only was the price of this unit perfect, but it was easy to install and performs all of the functions that I wanted in a microwave.

I bought this to replace a countertop GE microwave and my broken vent hood, and have had it about a month. The operation and features are similar to my previous microwave (very adequate). I love that there is a button for automatic cooking of a baked potato. I also like the quick cook features for 1-5 minutes, plus adding 30 seconds.
The vent fan seems to work well and has 2 speeds. My only complaint so far is that the light for the range could be brighter. It does have 2 settings, but they are both rather dim.
Overall a great GE product.

Replaced an existing GE Spacemaker that was 18 years old. Still in great working condition, but upgrading to stainless on all appliances (from Home Depot). Installation went well. Very please with the looks and performance of the new unit. BE SURE to read your manual on not letting the screen insert touch the sides while running. Will spark and burn the inside of your new microwave.

We updated our kitchen. Wanted a microwave reasonably priced, this was it. Performance and style are perfect. Stainless is easy to clean with wasm soapy water on a sponge. Would highly suggest this microwave.

I prefer this product over the Maytag bc of size in depth. Kicthen upper cabinets are usually 12" in depth. This is perfect at only 15'' . (definitely better than 16, 17, 18 " in depth in comparison to other brands) It does not protrude. Plus, it looks wonderful. Gorgeous finish.

This is a great Microwave. It is quiet and does have ample space.
The lighting is ample but could be more brighter for the Range cooking .
