"Wife loves it 'nuff said. Seriously, what a great value. We bought ours online at a deep discount and it was delivered within 3 days. It has everything but the dry clean feature of units that cost more than twice the price. I've never seen a person so happy to do laundry."

"I bought the LG dryer to match the LG washer I had previously purchased (and am quite happy with). The dryer, at this early date--2 weeks, works well. My wife used to wait on the dryer, as the cycle took longer than the washer, but now the dryer finishes up 5 - 10 minutes ahead, which is perfect. This dryer also is slightly shorter than others in the store, allowing us to stack soap and stuff on the top.
Now, if it works as long as my old dryer did, it will be much appreciated."

"The dryer has many bells and whistles and most importantly does an excellent job of drying the clothes. Some have noted this model does not get clothes completely dry, but that has not been our experience over the first month of ownership. The only recommendation for LG's design folks is to make the end of cycle chime max setting louder as it is hard to hear from across the house with the dryer in the laundry room."

"This is a beautiful dryer - right down to the tune it plays when the cycle is completed! Having had a really old dryer prior to this, I was faced with quite a few buttons to learn on operating this one! But it was no problem. Sometimes the clothes are not as dry as I expected, but I will just have to learn the right buttons to push!"

"I purchased this dryer in 2007. I loved it at first, but the drying of clothes were not the best. I always had to put it on more drying time unless there weren't many items in there.But the most discouraging thing is I had planned on this dryer lasting more than two years before something went wrong. Well I was wrong ,all the sudden it just stop heating, it runs but stays on the cooling while it says its drying too. I have been really disappointed, I know things happen but still expected it too last longer. Wasn't planning on spending the amount of money I did to have to turn around and put more money into it."

"I have had the dryer for a few days and have used it five times but I have to say I love it already. I had been using the matching washer with a different brand of dryer for over a year. I always had to run the dryer a second time to get towels and blue jeans totally dry. NO MORE, YEAH! I ran a load of at least 6 pairs of blue jeans, a few towels and some other clothes on the normal perm. press cycle (40 minutes). Everything was dry other then a tiny quarter-size, slightly damp spot, on a couple pairs of jeans. It was nothing that would make me throw them back in and dry it again. I was impressed at how dry my jeans were and I hadn't even used the "More Dry" setting. My dryer actually finishes before my my washer does. It has cut my laundry time in half and with four kids I have a lot. I will say it proabably does work best if you have the matching washer. The washer does an awsome job of getting out as much water as possible. Overall extremely satisfied!!!"

"I bought this dryer as a companion set with my LG Washer. The installers were great and put it on the right side of the washer so I can easily toss from the washer to the dryer. It runs quietly and has plenty of settings. The lint trap is easy and quick to clean. My clothes come out lint free and with FAR fewer wrinkles than my old dryer. My only hesitation with giving it 5 stars is that I often have to increase the dry time to "more dry" or "very dry" to get loads to be completely dry when the self-timer shuts the dryer off. This machine is supposed to have a sensor that sets the dry time based on the load and is supposed to sense when the clothes are dry and shut off automatically...it doesn't always work this way for me. However, I just set the dry time button up a notch or two when I start the load and they usually dry fine; it's not a big deal."

"This is a wonderful dryer very quiet. It takes so little time to dry your clothes because the washer spin cycle spins so fast they are almost dry. Nice meledy when finshed. I would recommend this dryer Super quiet"

"I purchased both the LG washer and dryer. I am very happy with both and have never experienced any problem drying anything and everything in it. The only thing I can possibly complain about is that my husband's T-shirts come out a bit wrinkled if left in the dryer until completely dry. I now take them out early and hang them up. Not to convenient but not so bad either. Do wonder if the steam dryer would of been better."

"I have not had a problem with clothes getting dry. My towels dry in one cycle unless it is an exceptionally large load. My dryer vents to the outside. I would buy both the dryer and the companion washer again in a heartbeat."

"Me and My wife just got rid of a 16 year old kemore washer/dryer combo at 1st a doubts on spending so much for a new washer and dryer but we finally everyone recommend the LG. First the good points the design is like the old school with a twist,drying time is awesome with large loads my clothes dry in one shot compared to 3 and 4 on old set,the dryer is good for tennis shoes the value for the serivce contract is great for 4 years.The only bad thing was I had to wait about 11/2 weeks but the salesman said its their most popular and its worth the wait"

"I bought this dryer with the matching washer for our new house. The idea that washer extracts so much water appealed to me, and I was eager not to have to dry my clothes for long. I was wrong. This dryer takes too long to dry unless there are only about 6 items in it. I have never had a dry load come out yet! Turns out, I am spending way to much time on drying than I wanted. I am not a fan of this dryer. Plus it took over a month to arrive!
The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of one, is because I love the design, and ease use when it comes to the functions. Plus it is very quiet."

"I bought this Dryer when my old one had to be put to rest. I thought the issue of clothes not being dry the first time around was all over. Well I thought wrong this dryer takes a few times of running it to get the clothes dry unless you only have 3-4 items in it. I did purchase the matching Washing Machine so the clothes are really close to being dry when getting done in the washer but this dryer just don't cut it unless you are doing very very small loads."

"I purchased the LG washer/dryer combo in July. The first dryer delivered to my apartment looked like it had been used in a game of warehouse-crane-pinata. I refused to accept it and got a replacement a few days later. After getting everything hooked up and going, I had no problems with the dryer...after getting used to the fact that you'll likely have to use the more dry setting on anything but bed sheets. It shouldn't be a big deal to anybody, as the dryer typically finishes before the washer (at least with the settings I use...averaging 50 minutes for the washer and 40 minutes for the dryer).
PS - I would not advise purchasing this dryer unless you get the corresponding washer, since the dryer's performance is dependent upon the washer's ability to extract a greater amount of water than conventional washers."

"Love the dryer, but so far have had problems with it sucking socks down past the lint screen and once into the blower motor (requiring a service call). We'll see if it continues to be a problem. They were really good about sending out service people, though. Still not sure why it has this problem with thin socks, though."

"I love it! Dries a huge load of jeans in a short amount of time. I used to have to dry my husband's work jeans for an hour and a half - this dryer does them in under an hour! It dries my regular clothes in 40 minutes. I love it, love it, love it!"
