I recently replaced a maytag washer that was leaking from the drum seal.Something too costly too repair.I looked online and found the 5870 model,and it fit the bill.The store experience was great.I had a great guy who was very helpfull in answering my questions/and with the internet price.It was labor day ,so my hats off too him to be so nice on a holiday.I will be getting a matching dryer soon.Thank you for a good product(though noisier than my old one)and warrenty.

This is the best washer I have ever owned. I really like it. The only thing I don't like about it is the selection for wash dial. I find it a little difficult to use. Everything else is perfect.

I just got this washer last week after having my previous Maytag for 10 years and already I need a new timer. The service man had mentioned that he has been replacing several of the same timers on various Maytags. So be warned.

Purchased this product one week ago and have been very pleased with results. Replaced unit that lasted 17 years. Researched the product vs. front loaders and this was best option for me as I couldn't justify the cost difference. This appears to be a good choice as clothes look great and matching dryer does a great job as well. An added bonus was the information given by associates @ the store.

In the days of economy washing this is a great item for the money. It is basically the top of the line product paying only half the amount. Every item washed is beautifully cleaned while using the exact setting for whatever is needed.

We recently purchased this washer and I just love it ! Very quiet and it certainly gets the job done. Lots of great features to it as well. I would recommend this to anyone in the market for a great washer !

This unit was the best deal when considering the warranty, engineering reputation of Maytag, expected useful life, and (during special promotion) free removal with free delivery. The reason I gave 4 star rating is because we had to replace a Maytag washer after approximately 7 years of service--we had greater expectations than a failure (did not make economic sense to repair) at only 7 years. Also, the best choice would be the front-load unit, but that was about twice the price--although there would be energy savings and it is the 'green' consumer choice.

wonderfull washer great product and store associates were very helpful. I had bought an admiral washer from my local store and two deliveries and two washers later both of which came to me broken and malfuntioning I ended up upgrading to this washer and It is great I was able to pick this one up at the store here in town and had them help me set it up and I am now very happy with the machine and the store and management for being so helpful and taking time to come down and remove the second broken machine and set up this new machine. Again thank you to the store manager and the helpful associates.
