It really shouldn't take 45 minutes to dry a very small load of laundry without anything heavy in it at the highest temperature available....takes me twice as long to dry my clothes compared to my old dryer....no real energy savings there!

I received this dryer over a week ago. It is great. Needed a new dryer so I went online and checked out everything and read reviews for all the ones I checked out. We have a tight space to fit the dryer through so I had to make sure the measurements would work. This dryer is super quiet. My old dryer would take two times through to dry the clothes but this one, as soon as the washer is done, the clothes in the dryer are done as well. I can get twice as many loads done now. Very roomy can fit a large load of clothes with no problem. I would recommend this dryer.

This machine is very simple to use with easy to read controls. The machine does what it needs to do with no extra bells and whistles. If you are looking for something cost effective to get the job done this is a machine for you.

On the plus side, the dryer is quiet. On the downside, it takes forever to dry on the lower of the two heat settings; leaving you with the option of drying everything on High or planning for 1.5 hours to get your clothes dry. The most disappointing feature is this new lint basket GE has installed. It's cheap, flimsy and allows lint to gather on the dryer door where it is easily re-depositted on your clothes or "poofs" into the air to leave your laundry room dusty.

I had a Whirlpool washer and dryer before and they lasted years, but I will never have another whirlpool after having this dryer. I love it. Very quiet. Only thing I would change is the lint tray is on the bottom front when you open the door and sometimes lint will get on my clothes when I pull them out after drying. I would change the lint tray to be more like Kenmore with the pull out lint tray on the top of the dryer.

I purchased this dryer with the matching extra large capacity washer and must say am more than happy! Dries my articles in minimal time and is more than large enough (washer also) to do my king size bedspread AND sheets at the same time!
