Hotpoint dryer,

"If your laundry room is near your living area, this the appliance for you! I am so happy that I read the reviews before deciding on a washer and dryer. I read about the noise the Maytag washer makes and I read about how quiet the Hotpoint appliacnes are. My washer and dryer are in my kitchen. The living room is right across the hall, not 8 feet away. We used to have to turn up the volume on the TV when I was doing laundry. It was either that or do laundry when no one was watching TV, and how often is that! You can barely hear the washer or the drier now. They are great! The delivery guys were se friendly, taking only minutes to set everything up and even took our old appliances away at no charge! I will defintely keep Home Depot in mind the next time I need a major appliance."

Very nice machine,

"This dryerhas worked much better than the newer Maytag I had at the old house. Partly the dry time which I know had to be in part due to the front loading washer.
I would recomend anyone who buys this dryer to have the "end of cylce signal" turned at least to medium even if downstairs. When they put the machine in the basement the signal was set high. When the signal sounded I could actually hear it outside.
Other than the signal which can also be turned off it is an extremely quite machine."

Nice Dryer for the price,

"I have had this dryer for three weeks. It seems like a good value for the price paid. It is quite, dries clothes quickly and has all the features that I need. I particularly bought it for the location of the lint trap, which is inside the door rather than on top of the dryer. This was an absolute requirement in a new dryer. The only little glitch was that we reversed the opening of the door and it initially got stuck closed. Once we got it open and realigned the door everything was OK. I just hope this thing keeps running as long as my last dryer did."
