6 Gallon 1.5 Running HP Pancake Compressor with Wheels and Handle

This is a versatile kit at a great value. The 6 gallon compressor features a unique fully-enclosed compressor shroud and a lightweight, direct-drive oil-free, maintenance-free universal motor pump. A low Amp draw eliminates tripped circuit breakers. A special feature is the new telescoping handle and dual rear wheels for optimum portability. The pressure regulator comes with a locking device and the control panel is extremely easy to use. The compressor comes complete with a ready to use inflation and accessory kit which can be conveniently stored in integrated accessory storage pockets. The universal quick coupler simplifies accessory installation. The cord stores neatly away with the special quad-hook integrated cord holder.

Worked for less than 2 days

No, I do not recommend this product.
Pros: Light weight, wheels, handle, price.
Cons: I used it to run a flooring nailer. It allowed me to finish approximately 200 sf before it started smoking. Until that point it worked great.

Well designed and easy to use

Pros: I bought this to pump up car and bike tires and to inflate basketballs. It has proven well up to the task. Once pressurized, it goes a very long time before it ever needs to be plugged in again. The unit rolls easily and is also easy to carry around by hand. The interchangeable connector system works well. Additional add-ons can be obtained from Campbell Hausfeld, the apparent maufacturer. I bought a third party tire inflator with a built in guage and it fit right on.
Cons: There is no on-machine storage for the attachments. It is noisy when it pressurizes.

Pancake compressor

The
size of the compressor is what sold it to me. My wife does projects
around the house and needs the smaller compressor to carry it up and
down the stairs. She is able to do this so she can use her nail gun on
various projects. This compressor also has the capability to dial up or
dial down the pressure level to get lower pressure when it is needed.

Not worth buying

No, I do not recommend this product.
I decided on this one because of the wheels and handle, wrong decision. I should have went for quality. I have had to remove the cover to fix an air leak and now the regulator knob threads have totally stripped out.
It is very noisy when running.
I will be buying a different brand in the next few days.

Broken just out of the box

No, I do not recommend this product.
Never got further than opening the box. The top black plastic housing was cracked. To me that suggests the quality of materials is shoddy. If it's shoddy in one place it is apt to be in another. I will get my refund but not happy about wasting my time and gas to return this lemon.

No, I do not recommend this product.
For what you pay for the compressor it will be fine, but is very light duty and is very very loud when pumping up. It is perfect for around the house....not a job site tool.

Unit was defective out of the box

No, I do not recommend this product.
I picked up one of these as it seemed to be a good alternative to the Porter Cable combo as I didn't need the nailers. I also have a friend who rehabs homes who has one and likes his.
First off, when I opened the box the entire top of the unit was covered in some type of sticky substance. I thought it may have been used and returned but all the factory cable ties were in place as were the carton staples. No big deal, I wiped it off, but when I got the hoses connected and fired it up, it ran for over 40 minutes without shutting off (the pressure was hovering around 130 PSI) and just as I thought it was reaching its high cut off the safety valve let go until the pressure dropped down to 40 PSI or so.
I thought it was just a fluke and let it run again, and the same thing happened.
I have no idea why it couldn't reach pressure and why the safety blew - it was hovering at 130 PSI for about fifteen minutes each time before the safety valve let go.
I might try another or I might just go for the Porter Cable nailer kit or Ridgid units and buy accessory inflation accessories.
I gave it two stars because, if it actually worked, it would be a great size unit and a nice form factor. I'm not willing to judge them all based on my experience but am now concerned about reliability.
