"I researched befor buying and bought this refrigerator because I wanted more freezer space and thought that the ice maker tilted was a good idea....until using it...First off, within 3 months the icemaker went out and had to be replaced which took 2 and 1/2 weeks before they could come out. That is when we realized it wasnt just the icemaker...it takes at least 30 sec to a minute to get a glass of ice....since it has to go uphill to get to the shute to come to my glass...I never dreamed that this would be a problem... I would return it for a new one in a minute...I went back and told the salesman not to recommend it to others because of this..."

"We spent over $2000 on this model last May when we purchased a new home. We went with the GE Profile for several reasons: to match the other appliances in the house, it received good ratings, and for the features. When we plugged in our refrigerator it had only cooled 1 degree over night. We called customer service on a Friday and they assured us that it would take up to 24 hours to cool. 24 hours later it had not cooled anymore and since it was a weekend we had to go almost an entire week without a fridge before they could service it. Apparently our refrigerator had no coolant in it. It didn't leak out, it never had any to begin with. Then we called for service to fix the nosiy operation of the fridge. Of course it wasn't making the noise when the service technician was here, but he's going to replace the compressor next week. I also noticed that there was a big crack in the interior of the freezer so I asked the service technician about that. He was surprised to see that. He sealed it, but the crack is still visible. I am extremely disappointed with our purchase and feel that this refrigerator should be replaced, not repaired, since it hasn't been working properly from day one and we've had it less than a year. GE will only repair it. This will be the last GE appliance I ever buy and I will recommend for others not to purchase this product either."

"Have had to repair my 2004 model LED readout 3 x's since I have owned it all out of pocket. Hate it. Also very limited storage space. Too many "special" drawers. Oh and the "special" drawers freeze everything!"

"YOU CAN RECOGNIZE GOOD PRODUCT,AND THIS IS ONE THAT STANDS ON IT'S OWN.THIS STAINLESS STEEL BEAUTIFUL PICTURE IN A FRAME WITH POLISHED DOOR HANDELS WOULD LOOK SO GOOD IN MY KITCHEN.IT SEEMS SO DELIGHTFUL,PLUS THE TEMPERATURE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WHAT MORE COULD ANYONE ASK FOR.THE CLIMATE KEEPER ,LED LIGHTING AND THE ULTRA FLOW IS ALL FABULOUS.ESPECIALLY WHEN IT POURS UPTO 100 OUNCES OF WATER PER MINUTE, HOW ABOUT COMING HOME FROM THE SUPERMARKET WITH YOUR GROCERIES AND HAVING TO SERVE DINNER,AND YOU NEED TO CHIL YOUR BEVERAGES WITHIN THE HOUR FOR YOUR GUEST,WHO BETTER TO GO TO BUT YOUR 45 MINUTE MINUTE COOLER WITHIN YOUR GE PROFILE.THIS IS THE BEST REFRIGERATOR THAT ANYONE COULD PURCHASE OR THAT A HUSBAND COULD BUY AS A GIFT FOR HIS LOVING WIFE.
