It's a microwave. It heats up food and defrost frozen food. As I have owned the microwave for just over 2 weeks I can't tell you more than that. I do know that it doesn't clean the kitchen. That would be a nice option though :)

We purchased this because our other Sharp Carousel needed repair after 8 years of service. Let's face it, applicance don't work forever! The new one arrived as expected and was quickly installed without any problems.

Works great and it's a nice big size but some of the buttons aren't well thought out.

Overall it's a great microwave and I would definitely recommend people to buy it. I'm just a little disappointed at the way the buttons are arranged. To use the timer, which we use often while cooking, you need to press too many odd buttons. Plus the start button isn't any bigger then the other buttons or even in a place to make it easily stand out. This makes it a bit harder to use. It's a shame they have so many of the other (rarely used) buttons take up the space for the main buttons. But the microwave itself is great!

When my old, much-loved microwave finally died, I knew I wanted to look at the same model again because this one had been so good. It wasn't until I was confirming the make and model that I realized I'd had this one since 1999! Then when I read product reviews on this site, I realized I wasn't the only one who'd had one that lasted so long. It's worth spending a little more initially when it works so well for so long!

We were happoy with the Sharp Carousel that we had. Unfortunately our daughter made Easy Mac in a styrofoam cup with out water. It stunk so badly my husband ordered another one and put the old one outside. We were happy with Home Depot's no shipping offer and the exact same microwave was delivered to our door. Unfortuanately, the fan made so much noise--rattling and humming-- that we returned it to the store. No problem there but we were so unhappy with the product. Maybe it was just a lemon.
No, I do not recommend this product.

The sensor cooking is great, there is no guessing on when your frozen entree is done. There is so much difference in this microwave and the cheaper ones.Your food comes out tasting great. Well worth the money.Easy to use.
