Love my new Sharp Carousel microwave oven! I have used the Sharp brand of microwave for many years and have never been disappointed in it. Really like being able to cook with the "sensor". You just push the appropriate button and the microwave does the rest! I love the larger size microwave because I tend to cook larger amounts of food.

We wanted a second microwave to use in our renovated kitchen (while keeping the first one). Because we were pleased with the Sharp Carousel we already had, we decided to get this second similar model. It's basically dependable and works fine; we like the carousel feature. We've had our first one for several years and it's still going strong.

After our old Sharp microwave quit working after 20 years we are enjoying the new sensor cooking feature of our new Sharp microwave. What an improvement and ease of cooking vegetables and reheating leftovers. We are looking forward to exploring the many other options. The recipes look so easy to duplicate.

So far so good...arrived in very good shape. One con is: microwave door latch, kind of hard to push to open door. Seems a bit flimsy..I had a Sharp microwave for 20 years and finally stopped working. This is a replacement. Heats leftovers very well. Haven't used other microwave options. Researched many websites and stores before buying this microwave. According to all research, this model had BEST overall reviews. Hope they are right...Great price for Sharp Carousel...my first Sharp cost me $320 in 1992. Price has dropped a lot. More info to come if anything major happens.

We are still learning about all of its features. I like the breakfast and lunch features. We haven't perfected the popcorn yet. We had a Sharp Carousel for 16 years. We chose a less expensive Sharp which was delivered damaged twice. When you sent us a gift card refund, we decided to upgrade to this Sharp Carousel. The third time was a charm. I hope this one lasts as long as our first one.

After our 30 year old microwave died, I had no idea how far microwaves have come. I love the sensor cooking. It's so smart. Everything comes out great. I do make popcorn by putting in minutes instead of using the popcorn feature because I use different size bags than what is called for. Otherwise, everything works as advertised.

This is an excellent microwave. It was purchased to replace nearly the same model that lasted 14 years! It's quieter than most and certainly has the all power needed. I agree with one reviewer who said the LED is just a tad difficult to read. But you can easily deal with that. This is a terrific microwave and a terrific value!

This is a replacement microwave for us so it is presently on HOLD for when the current one goes !. The one we are using is rusting out in the back of each corner !!! Have NEVER had that problem with Sharp before !! This will be our 3rd one in 10 years ! BUT ...LOVE this microwave! It is so easy to operate I have taught my mentally challenged brother to use it and he does with no problem...and if you have the space for this size by all means order one! For the price it is worth it! We have a tendency to use larger dishes for family meals and need the size to accomodate the dishes etc. Obviously we like the Sharp product cause we came back for another one .

Micorwave has trouble with defrosting. Frozen vegetables are steaming on outside, but cold inside. Auto defrost is a joke. Better to do it manually and risk defrosting too much. Other features are nice - sensor reheat, breakfast foods, etc. work well.

Our old microwave which was an earlier version of this one lasted ten years. This is full size machine with a large (16") turntable. This is large enough to hold a turkey. We have had the new microwave about three weeks and are very pleased with it overall.
The only negative for me is the numbers on the control pad are not dark enough and for me a bit hard to see.

This was a gift to my parents. We all have used and it appears to be a great product. In reading earlier reviews, most all was positive with the exception of "sensor cooking". Certain foods may need additional time to cook/warm. So far, we have not seen this as the case, for if anything, our food was too hot and required time to cool. Not a big issue to us, but might be to some. It would be nice if there was a way to "recalibrate" this option if the results are consistent all food groups...

I checked out a lot of microwaves before I decided upon this one. I had a Sharp before this one and it lasted many years so I wanted the same brand. It was the only one I could find, either in a store or online, that was 1200watts with a lot of great features. It does everything I need it to do, and more. It works fine and it is very easy to use. This is also the first time I ever ordered online from Home Depot, and I had no problems at all. It arrived sooner than I expected in excellent condition. If I had to do it over again, I would do the same thing. I do believe you would be happy with this microwave.

WOW!!! after reading reviews and some having had excellent luck with Sharp lasting 20 plus years that is SUPER!! I currently have one similar to this, a Sharp microwave, have gone thru 2 of them in 10 years. The last one simply quit and the current one is rusting out in the back corners ! THAT, the rusting out, is my ONLY complaint with it ! BUT I love the style, and the ease of operation and the size of these I am seriously considering ordering this model !!!

I bought this unit to replace a Sharp convection/microwave that I have used the past 28 year with absolutely no problems with it what so ever. After 28 years It finally quit working. I was really pleased with the years of service I got from that old unit so I read the reviews that others had written about this Sharp Microwave and decided that it was what I needed. I really didn't need or use the convection oven that much, but could make use of all the special sensor features. I have used the fresh vegetable settings a couple times now and they cook to perfection. The unit does popcorn in a flash and the warm up setting is great for left overs. Read the manual and keep it handy because there are so many features in it to help make fixing food easy, but to many to remember. So far I am extremely pleased with this unit and look forward to using all of the other special features.

We owned this exact model for more than 10 years. Through my own stupidity I ruined it, and was therefore extremely pleased to find it still available. We love the many built in automatic settings, and rarely have to enter numbers into the keypad. The baked potatoes are very good. I generally add "one minute plus" to everything to make it come out perfectly. A great and roomy microwave!
