Our second experience with the TM Allure products. Goes down quickly. Fairly tolerant of minor surface irregularities. Easy to clean. Patching is easy later on if surface gets any big dings.

This is the best floor for country durablity. I live in an Earth contact home and have replaced ever room that was carpeted with this. It is easy to lay and gives the house the country charm I have been looking for. I am a 58 year old grandmother and have layed the floor myself because my husband is disabled. Recommend it for kids, pets and rental homes.

The hardest part of this floor is the boxes - carrying them in, opening them up, and figuring out what to do with them afterwards. All the rest was a walk in the park! Very easy to cut and install - if this 60 year old granny can do it anyone can! They are beautiful.
Was a bit worried about the glue joint, if it would hold. But the first time I had to pull up a plank to reposition it, I was convinced that the joints would hold just fine! Even though they don't feel very tacky, they really hold when pressed together.
Easy cutting with either scissors or my knife. Put in over 450 sq ft of flooring in less than two days.

I just had my carpet replaced with this flooring downstairs, and have just ordered more to do the stairs, landing, and second floor. My dogs, one of them 20 yrs. old, had ruined the carpet, and this flooring is perfect. It looks and feels like real wood, with the wood grain feel. The installer likes it so much that he is going to do his house with it. I can't wait to get the upstairs done. It has totally changed the look of my house and I don't have to worry if my pet has an accident. It is just fabulous!

I recently installed this flooring in a bedroom, loft area and bathroom and its ease of installation definitely impressed me. Our rooms were a challenge because we had a lot of cut outs around beams that came to the floor (A-frome house). I am a 54 yr. old woman and did almost the entire floor myself. I can't wait to order my next pallet for the bedrooms.

I choose Country Pine Allure vinyl plank flooring. The strips are only 36" long and that was a concern initially. The flooring went down well but does require serious rolling at the ends and edges.
Now that I have finished ( about 700 sq. ft.) it looks great! The short planks are not really noticable and the look is very realistic. It has only been down for a month so I can't comment on how it wears, or if it will lift or deform, but so far I am very happy i used this flooring.

i love the allure flooring. looks great installed, a terrific price, and it's a piece of cake to install - a speed square, razor, and measuring tape are all you need.
word of warning -> like with most flooring, esp. vinyl, if you're replacing carpet with this, be sure to get EVERY SINGLE STAPLE and other debris off the floor, or you WILL notice later. it's not a ding on the product though, just a heads up.

Looks nice and it was easy to install but it will never fool anybody - it does not feel or look like wood. Only after installing it in a kitchen I found out it that bleach damages it.. It is pretty dull and you can not use Mop and Glo or other vynil floor products on it. The ridges that simulate wood grain may be long term dirt traps.
In short, better than other products in that price range but short of perfection.

It is so easy to intall. I am a "senior" do-it-yourselfer and had 3 other "seniors" helping me. We where able to intall a 12' x 20' basement area in less than 6 hours. You only need a ruler, straightedge and a utility knife.The vinyl scores & cuts very easily and the edges are clean. This is the best investment that you can make. The results are a beautiful looking wooden floor with simple maintenance for a basement area. I am now consindering intalling it in two of my bathrooms.

I used this for an enclosed patio floor. It has the appearance and texture of a real wood plank deck. It does require precision fitting. So far, it has done OK with water spray carried by the wind throught the screened sides of the enclosed patio/deck. I am unable to upload photos because the Home Depot software crops the bottom of the photos (deleting the floor from the photos).

I first installed this in my previous home, which is now a rental. The looks and durability of Allure are the best for landlords! Plus, I needed a floating floor since my house shifts. And, it's great when you have 3 dogs in the house too. It really looks great and can stand tons of wear and tear.
Now I'm in my new home in a different state and after the carpet was ruined by water in the basement, this was my first choice of flooring. It's waterproof and so easy to install. I did the bedroom myself just to see how easy. I had to get in the groove on the first two rows, like how to cut the ends...and make sure you don't cut off the sticky strips when you need them to stick to the next piece! No problem! I'm just a tall lady and didn't like being on the floor too long so I hired another guy to finish the hallway! It helped to watch the online video and included instructions. Make sure they're acclimated to your room and at least 65 degrees to stick best.
I bought these online from Home Depot and their free delivery was absolutely awesome -- made my life so much easier since the boxes are heavy!!

There is virtually no waste and 2 guys were able to lay 1100 sq feet in 2 days each or about 276 sq feet per day each.
