I looked everywhere to find the best price I could get on a G.E smooth top electric cooktop. Home Depot came through and it was delivered very quickly and in good shape....installation went perfect and we couldnt be happier....

After having looked at quite a few different cooktops we decided on this one. It's sleak design goes very well with our coutertops. It's easy to use and very easy to clean. Cooking on it is very fast and convenient. Heating areas heat to the desired temp in no time. Great product!!!

I wouldn't know how this product works since I was never able to use it. The ceramic top cracked as it was being installed! I was devastated!!! I called GE and they said they could not help me. I would have to buy a new ceramic top for almost $700!!! Are you kidding me? I was out $1000 and had nothing to show for it. I wish I had known how delicate these things were. I would have never purchased one! We immediately switched to a gas stove top and we love it. It was an expensive lesson learned.

We upgraded all of our appliances this year and used to have the GE Profile/white cooktop that had the knobs on the right. It was only 5 years old and I liked the fact that it had a bridge on the two left burners. I thought that I would miss that w/ this new unit but am very satisfied with the Large 12", 9", 6, burner on the front right. It does the job. I am still getting used to how hot this model cooks. It is hot like gas which I am not used to but am adapting fast. The best part is no knobs. Yey! The back left 9" 6" boil fast burner is also a very nice feature. Quick tip: When istalling make sure that your setting foam tape is as close to the under edge as possible, keeping in mind you don't want it to squish out when the weight of the cooktop is applied. If it is right at the edge it will not allow food/crumbs to get under the edge. Enjoy.

This cooktop is listed as "white." It is more like black with some white speckles. We did not install it when we saw that it was not actually white. Can not speak to how well it works.
