Nice train set

It's a nice big train set and easy to set up. We have it set up under the tree and there are plenty of track pieces left over. The only assembly required is the track itself and some small street signs that are provided. Then insert the batteries, hook up the cars and you're ready to roll. The train is controlled by the remote but can be used without it as well. The remote has a forward, reverse, stop and sound button and works well to control the train though it must be pointed at the train. The only drawback is that the sound is quite loud which can not be adjusted. That is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars. A nice value at $25.

I was stumped when trying to assemble the tracks because I thought I was short 4 curved pieces. Then I found them "hidden" under a piece of cardboard on the back of the stryofoam. Figured I'd share that tip with others who might be curious. Got it together and am loving it.

this train set is a not so bad for 40$. You can control it with a wireless remote and the train comes with a lot of track but we did not use all of the track.Anyway,it scares my dog a lot but maybe because the noise is a little too noisy even though it sounds nice.

This is a beautiful train set, nice size not at all small, more then enough track, only problem is there isn't a volume control, and it is really loud. Perfect for under the tree

This was the hit of the day Christmas morning. It can be loud, as the other reviewer said, but it kept all three kids of different ages engaged all morning.
